This is the fourth set I’ve ordered and they are really cool. Turn on/off inside/outside lights with just the flick of a button. I bought these for all our different Christmas lighting we have around the house. I already had a different brand of 3 but needed 5 because my wife is always adding more, so I bought these. I read the instructions mostly to find out how bad the English translation was and found out that you can program these to have multiple outlets turn off and on with one button push. Since I am lazy and bought these, I figured that I could become even lazier by only pushing one button instead of painstakingly pushing 5 separate buttons a quarter of an inch apart to turn everything on or off at once. these remotes work pretty good. It’s easy to set them up but it is sort of odd way to do it but it is simple to do. One has to follow the directions. Duh!. The remotes are powered by small batteries and it’s a little difficult to see which end of the battery is plus and which is minus. I thought at first the units were not working but then I realized I had the battery in the wrong way. duh two! the type of battery is listed in the Amazon illustration which I can’t see right now so I can’t tell you the type of battery.
