I had a previous smart scale which only reported my weight. It did not report any other data. I wanted a scale that would give me insights about some of my other health data such as BMI and body fat percentage. I selected this scale since it appeared to provide a lot of the data that I wanted to capture. On first use of this scale, connecting to my iPhone was a real cinch. From there I stepped on the scale and within a few seconds it measured my weight and all of the other data it collects. From there it sent the data up to my phone where I could view the information. At first, I was shocked because it appeared that the scale was reading about 3 pounds higher than my previous scale. I thought that this new scale was broken and no good. I had been using my previous scale for a year and half in my journey of losing 80 pounds. It couldn't possibly be wrong! To test, I grabbed a 10-pound weight and two 5-pound weights. I then placed them on this new scale, and it read exactly 20 pounds! I tried the same test on my previous scale but for whatever reason it would not register the weights on them. I then weighted myself on an older scale I had stored away, and it read much closer to this new scale than to my previous scale. This new scale showed me that my previous scale was reading incorrectly and was lying to me! This scale has a digital read out that shows you your weight. I wish the display was a bit bigger because it is a bit hard to see with my aging eyes, but not a big deal because I can always look on my phone what it measured. The app is pretty straightforward and easy to use. It displays the data in an easily understandable format. I had no issues with it. I did have one minor annoyance with this new scale. Although you can weight yourself at any time, from my experience it does not seem to report back to your phone unless you have your phone on you, open the app, and then tell it to measure. I don't always have my phone on me when I go weight myself, so this is a bit of a pain. If I want the data collected and recorded, I have to go hunt down my phone. Ideally if my phone is nearby within Bluetooth range it should just report to the phone the data it collected. I guess the scale wants me to get in a few more steps in for the day hunting down my phone. It's a minor annoyance but an area that could be improved. Since confirming that the scale works, I am really happy with it and all of the data it collects which will help monitor my health. I definitely recommend this scale. Read more

This is an amazing scale; we are happy with our selection. The cost, though, at three (3) figures ($$$) seems high. Although this was my first foray into this digital health information type scale universe and appears an average price for this capable of a scale. Hopefully the price will adjust over time. However, if the whole picture is considered, the information this scale, in combination with the App, offers, may save us thousands of dollars in health care costs; further, what price can I put on being conscious of a need to work for better health? A smart device is needed (for me, Apple, an iPhone, however, our iPad worked too for downloading, so that was used) to take advantage of all features this scale offers. Not using would make this scale too expensive, just to tell weight. So, I downloaded the App. (found on the App Store, but can also scan the box’s QR code.) It starts with your basic information inputs, think height, weight, and age. Then we needed to enable Bluetooth. Then various questions are asked, like daily water intake, so start documenting such. You must actively use the scale, to start getting the numbers needed, such as BMI. This App will then start documenting/saving your information, such as weight, measurements, and water intake, over the day, week, month, and year. There is going to have to be a high degree of participation, taking measurements and documenting water intake, so be prepared, measurements can be over a lengthier period, but that water number I think must be consistent, from my early observation. So, commitment is going to have a high priority. Hopefully there will be time for this. Good if there is. I also needed to measure my body, near a dozen measurements. So, get the tape measure out. This obviously is to allow progress to be documented over time. The measurements included neck; chest; biceps; waist; hip; leg; and calf. It’s easy to enter the date, a wheel is used to adjust to the user’s goal measurements. During set-up, for the iPad, relatively new, I was not asked about sharing location information. The scale seems durable and using known dead weight, accurate, with bright readings that can easily be read during the daytime. Record and track body weight, fat percentage, muscle mass, and several other health measurements. The purpose of Sensiv is to allow me to reach measured fitness goals by stepping on the scale, which documents its readings, into the App, tracking the aforesaid health measurements. The App and Fat Scale work together to follow the progress of my diet and exercise routine. The hope is that by tracking, diet and exercise will show results and encourage me to follow the path of healthy habits. Works great. Arrived with the four (4) needed batteries, much appreciated, sets softly on the surface with feet, all as pictured. Very helpful. Read more
