Kensen’s Body Hair Trimmer is a decent trimmer with some design flaws. Be mindful that this is a trimmer, not a razor, so it will trim hair close but not to the degree a razor will. The adjustable guard is useful for adjusting to the targeted body area; most of us don’t want all our hair the same length. I wouldn’t recommend it for facial hair, even though it’s listed as acceptable here. I’d recommend a different trimmer for that! Design flaws: for wet use, I don’t think the exposed plug is ideal on the trimmer. I’m not going to use it in wet areas for that reason. The guard is adjustable, but it is attached via screws, so it’s not the easiest to adjust. Some reviewers complained that the stand doesn’t charge the razor. I can see how that would be useful and convenient; at the same time, I don’t have mine on the stand and would rather stash it away. I can also see it being useful for not having to transport the entire stand in my toiletry bag when traveling. The USB cord is much simpler and space-efficient. To me, the stand is a bonus. Overall, I’d recommend the product, but be mindful of the drawbacks. I don’t like it as well as the other kensen (shaver) I got a while back. I guess I expected more for the price point. Read more

It works but I am not at all impressed. It has a ceramic blade that is screwed in place with two screws, so not as easy to detach and re-attach. The shaver is not that great, it works but the blade is set to only one position and does an OK job but not worth it in my opinion. It says it is waterproof but I would not use it in the shower since there is an open USB-C port that is not covered, so moisture will eventually get into it if you are not careful. Has a nice power display to let you know how much power you have left and it doesn’t use much. I tried it on my short beard and it works but not that well. Read more

The teeth on these are much finer than I'm used to seeing on a clippers, making for a smooth, close shave with much lower danger of nicks. The body trimmer guard can trap quite a bit of hair on the first pass, but is easy enough to clean out. Depending on how heavily you use this, you can go weeks or longer without needing a recharge.
