I’ve owned quite a few Braun trimmers over the years and usually stick to their higher-end models, so I went into this with pretty clear expectations. I know what Braun does well, and I also know where they sometimes miss the mark for me personally. After using the Series 9 PRO All-in-One kit for a while now, I can say the performance is strong. It cuts clean, feels smooth, and doesn’t tug or snag even on thicker areas. That alone already puts it ahead of a lot of trimmers I’ve tried. The design is clean and comfortable in hand. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap. I do think the grip could have been improved slightly. It’s not bad at all, but at this price point I expected it to feel just a bit more premium and solid. Where this really stands out is the length dial. That feature alone makes it a keeper for me. It’s precise and easy to adjust, and once you find your setting, you can consistently return to it without guessing. Attachment changes are quick and straightforward, and everything feels durable when snapping on and off. Battery life has been solid so far. I haven’t had to constantly think about charging it, which is a big plus. The motor feels steady and strong, even when working through denser spots. The ProDetail trimmer works great for shaping and mustache cleanup. It gives clean lines without needing to go over the same area multiple times. One thing I would really love to see in future versions is a move to universal USB-C charging. At this price point, that would truly make it feel like a modern all-in-one solution instead of relying on a proprietary charger. My only minor issue was the packaging. The outer box arrived a little rough. The unit itself works perfectly, so it wasn’t a dealbreaker. If you’re deciding between this and a cheaper trimmer, the dial precision and consistent cutting are really what you’re paying for. Overall, this is a dependable and versatile grooming kit. It performs well, feels comfortable, and makes maintenance simple. Not the most luxury-feeling Braun product I’ve owned, but definitely one I’ll keep using. Tried and true Braun quality trimmer. Very versatile kit with minimal amounts of attachments to have to keep up with and clean. The round depth dial is intuitive and easy to find the right setting. Attachments are easy to swap out quickly and clean. The trimmer motor is very strong and doesn’t bog down under heavier beard lengths. I haven’t had any issues with nicks, cuts or hair pull so far. Battery life is very long and the included charging stand can be added for a more permanent charging station or just be plugged in directly for charging while traveling. The included manual razor and blade is a very nice addition to this kit to finish off with a completely clean shave. Only minor negative for me is the lack of a carry case that will hold the attachments and power charger. The trimmer itself has a case but kind of a dumb choice not to include a larger case. Overall still a great price point and a lot of value in this kit. Read more

I've used A LOT of razors over the years for my hair and beard, plus my wife is in the business. Needless to say, I know by now what I like. Full honesty, I personally use and get by with sub $50 trimmers and do just fine with them. So when this big boy came about to try, it was without hesitation. I'm super impressed with it so far...and the quality/price difference is very apparent with how it cuts, that's for sure. Initially, I thought the dial system to change lengths was going to be gimmicky and not work great, but I was very wrong. It's rock solid and even has a lock so you can't bump the dial whilst shaving...which I would 100 percent do. There are probably more micro adjustments than you even need, but they're there. Now my 2 negatives. One is the case. I love the provided hard shell case, and I love that I don't need to carry extra guards when I travel, but, I'd love for the case to be able to hold the charging cord (which doesn't always require the base fyi). Which brings me to my second negative- the charging cord. Here we are in 2026 and we still haven't all unified to one singular usb-c charging cord. I have other razors that are, so I'm not sure why this still needs to be unique. I'm going on a trip in a few weeks, and I really don't want to pack another cord. I highly doubt it I will even need it, but I feel compelled to bring it as there's always that, what if scenario. Having said all that, it's a really nice razor and the quality is evident. I'm not sure if I personally would splurge this much on a razor, as my cheap-os fair pretty well on my beard thus far, but I'm certainly enjoying this one. It will be interesting to see if these blades stay much sharper for longer than my other razors. I'd still have no problem recommending this one though. Read more
