This was my first time ever using a sea salt spray, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. My hair is naturally a little wavy underneath, but the top layer usually dries straight (which is frustrating). I applied this spray to damp hair, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it did bring out more waves overall, including in areas that normally stay straight. It gave my hair more texture and movement without feeling heavy, and the waves looked natural rather than stiff or crunchy. It also was not sticky. I also want to mention the scent. I noticed some reviews saying they didn’t like it, but I actually do. To me it smells clean and fresh, like a slightly floral shampoo—not overpowering at all. I’m giving this four stars because the effect is subtle. But I’m still figuring out the best way to use it for my hair type, and overall it did help enhance my natural waves. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re looking to add texture and definition. Read more

For a sea salt spray product, this is actually very affordable, more so than other ones that I've purchased. First thing I noticed was the scent. I quite like it. It smells fresh but not too overpowering. The spray is on the lighter side which means you won't feel like you're adding a lot to your hair. However, this has its downsides. Because the spray is on the lighter side, I do feel like it isn't sticky enough for the texture effect that I experienced from other brands. Now I'm stuck choosing between using more of the spray, or settling with hair that may not look as good. The overall quality is good, just maybe not the best application if you heavily depend on it. It dries quickly as well since it's light. Read more

Been using this for the past few weeks and I like it for the scent. I got this for texturing but I don't really feel or see it. But this is because I didn't follow the directions. The bottle doesn't say anything so I just used it on dry hair. The instructions are on the listing page. You use it on damp hair and blowdry to style. The bottle is pretty big so it'll last me awhile. The solution is a bright blue color which fits the sea theme but I feel its unnecessary. The spray bottle is decent. It doesn't get clogged and it sprays evenly. It doesn't make my hair feel heavy or sticky. Read more

This spray comes in a tall, semi-opaque white 8.12oz plastic bottle with a black pump sprayer that distributes a fine mist. The formula itself is lightweight and watery, which makes it easy to layer without buildup. The key ingredients are sea salt, kelp extract, red algae, and keratin, blended with aloe vera to prevent dryness. The sea salt adds grit and separation to strands, giving that tousled, lived-in beach texture, while the keratin and aloe help balance it out so your hair doesn’t get overly crunchy. On my fine, straight hair, it provided a subtle boost in volume and gave some definition, but it didn’t give a strong hold or a dramatic wave. The finish is matte with no greasy residue, and it’s paraben-free, sulfate-free, and safe for colored hair. It works best if you scrunch it into damp hair and let it air-dry, or mist it lightly on dry hair for texture before styling. For thicker or curlier hair, it may act more as a soft enhancer than a wave creator. The sea salt and red algae create lift and separation by adding a little roughness to the hair cuticle, which is what gives you that tousled, beachy texture. At the same time, kelp extract brings in minerals that support strength, while keratin bonds lightly to the strands to smooth frizz and keep everything from looking too dry or brittle. To prevent the salt from over-drying, aloe vera adds a layer of moisture and soothes the scalp, making the spray feel more conditioning than harsh. The combination means you get texture without that crunchy, stiff finish. Pros: • Lightweight formula • Matte finish with no greasy residue • Subtle volume and texture, easy to layer • Infused with aloe, kelp, algae, and keratin • Paraben-free and safe for color-treated hair Cons: • Doesn’t add strong waves on its own • May be too subtle for thick or heavy hair • Texture payoff is moderate Final Thoughts: If you want an effortless, everyday texturizing spray that won’t dry your hair out, this is a nice gentle option. It adds just enough grit and lift for casual tousled styles, but don’t expect dramatic beach waves unless you already have some natural texture. Read more
