A good machine, but only if you follow the badly worded, and poorly arranged information on cleaning. You must do the calc and clean procedure, but more importantly, you must not only clean the frother wand after every use, but you must take a glass of water and select the milk option to clean the internal milk circuit, or eventually your frother circuit will get plugged, and the frother will quit working. When you call Bosch, this is the first question you will be asked. Do you follow the milk circuit cleaning procedure. Luckily for me, the suggestion to repeat procedure until it unplugs, eventually worked. There are some liquid solutions you can use as well available online or you can try liquid solutions that you have in the kitchen like white vinegar or filtered lemon juice concentrate. Read more

After 3 Jura machines that failed in less than a year I was looking for something durable & bosch came to mind. Very impressed so far, great tasting Espresso with wonderful crema (I use lavazza beans) & the milk in cup option is genius Different from the Jura machines that are unserviceable & need to be sent in, here the brewing unit is accessible, can be cleaned & is available as spare part. I had a Siemens machine of similar build that lasted like 10 years (I swapped the brewing unit once) The menu & options are great not too simple (like the tschibo or jura ena4) & not too crazy fancy like the high end jura ones. I was mostly looking for durability but the taste & options are much better than I expected at the price point and easily beat the jura d6. Will update review if needed but I think I found a machine that will last. Read more

I never spent this much money on an espresso coffee maker before. The milk froth does not get the milk hot, not even warm. I called Bosch and was told to program the frother by holding onto the button and then it will store in its memory. It made one cup of very warm milk and went back to its old setting. Read more

I have had this machine for two months and really love it EXCEPT it tells me to descale it every week and a half. We use bottled water to fill it so hard water should not be the problem. I haven’t been able to get an accurate answer to this problem—has anyone else experienced this and is there a solution? Read more

We have had this since October 2024. Very happy with two exceptions. The extra $50 we paid for the cup warmer was a total waste of money - and we feel a bit ripped off. A cup would have to sit on the warmer for hours before it did any noticeable warming. The second is there is no indicator that the bean level is low, visual inspection only. If we had to do it over again we would still buy the machine but would save ourselves the money and opt out of the cup warmer feature. Other than that we love the machine and would buy it again. We bought this fully automatic espresso machine to cut down on the expense of our Nespresso pods. So far we love this machine. The beans we use are from Lavazza.. both the blue bag and the grand crema black bag. Both make a great coffee. I do still have my Nespresso that I now use for decaf coffee only so I don’t have to empty the bean hopper on the Bosch. 😃 Read more

We decided that we were spending way too much money on Nespresso pods, and while visiting family fell in love with their Bosch espresso machine…their second one as they sold a home and their first was built in. I did a lot of research and like the fact that Bosch has a ceramic grinder rather than plastic. Also you can froth milk right in the cup rather than having an apparatus off to the side. It’s been a month and we could not be happier with our purchase. Read more
