After much debate about whether to purchase the Wave system, I finally went on and did it. I have read, and re-read reviews. Both sides of the spectrum. I have gone into the local Bose store to listen to it. And after about a year, I dove in and did it. It arrived less than one week after I placed the order on Amazon.com. I purchased the iPod connect along with the radio, because primarily I listen to my iPod. I do not really listen to CD's anymore, so I figured this would be the best option for me. Set up was a breeze. I added the extra step with the iPod connect, but you simply plug in the power, then plug the 3.5mm into the aux in port behind the radio, and boom, you're ready to listen to your iPod. I was very excited for this, because I am a huge fan of the Pandora App, so I let that stream through my radio, and I must say, it truly sounds amazing. I am a huge fan of Bose. For some reason, the topic of Bose is very black and white. Either people love it, or they have absolute disdain for the brand. I see it as being simple. I love the soft, realistic sound that Bose produces. I have multiple products that Bose offers. And that is my opinion on the sound. But I favor more relaxed, folk type music, and Bose reproduces a very accurate sound, which suits me just fine. Last week I also received the on-ear headphones for my birthday, and I listen to those in my bed before I sleep, and every night I am lulled by the smooth sound that they produce. To wrap everything up, I would strongly recommend this product to a serious music listener that enjoys the sound of music, and not necessary a catchy beat. To the listener that wants to turn on a simple device, and relax. It fits nicely on a shelf beneath my TV. What is also a nice feature is that you barely notice it visually, but when turned on, the entire room is filled with its amazing sound. Read more
Must I say first, this is an absolutely outstanding radio. Like all Bose products, this radio meets Bose sound, however, VERY LITTLE static will be heard if you do not purchase the $10 antenna (sold by Bose). Another thing to point out is to consider that every radio system sold will not have crystal-clear sound (even this product is not perfect, but it's the closest you will get to the best sounding radio). This system features an alarm clock, which intelligently functions by desire (by this, I mean when the alarm goes off, your selected radio station will go off, low volume to high volume in mere seconds so that its not "BAM!") Another notable feature of the system is that it allows you to pre set six AM AND FM stations in memory, when all you have to do is push a button, and there you are. Overall, I love this system. If you want to increase your musical experience, it is recommended that you should get the Ipod dock (rather expensive, but worth it). If you are looking for a radio that comes as good as it is going to get for these dimensions, I recommend you check this product out, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Read more

Great styling, sound, and features really make this a standout product. The Bose Wave radio is a thing of beauty and will enhance any room decor, while the sound quality is outstanding. It has nice features, with the auto dimming LED display and the gradual volume increase on the alarm particulary well thought out. I have one gripe - all the time setting features are set by remote control, which in theory is cool, but in practise is a pain in the neck. On most clock radios, to get the digits turning quickly when setting the clock / alarm time, you hold the button down - same with the Bose remote, except that the infrared link isnt perfect, so instead of being able to advance the time quickly, the time advances slowly (painfully so) because the button never stays 'held down' long enough. It took me about 20 mins to advance to the desired time - doesnt sound too inconvenient, but when you've just shelled out over $300 for a clock radio, it's a bit frustrating. Still highly recommend product - only loses a star because of time setting shortcoming. Read more

It's an amazing product. The sound is just great and it's really compact. It's heavier than I thought but I never had this kind of product before. I use it for my very big LCD TV to see movies. When I watched LOTR I was like "WOW!". I also tested with songs with a lot of bass from my iPod with outstanding performance (even at 90+ volume). If you are those kind of people who like to make your own EQ, this is not your product. But if you don't mind you will be really satisfied with Bose's EQ. The remote is small, so it's quite sneaky but otherwise it does the job. Radio is fine, but in my case that's not why I bought it (I have only used it once or twice). I just moved out to my new house which is a lot stylish and elegant, and this product fits perfectly with my internal living room. If you wanna start with compact sound systems, this is a good product to start. If you are a pro-Bose (like me) you will love it. If you aren't a pro-Bose you can give it a chance. Either way, remember not all products are perfect, so if you have bad luck, be patient. If you have good luck, you will be satisfied. Read more

The radio works but has a muffled sound and it has difficulty remaining strongly connected to stations. The antenna instruction did not seem to work and were very difficult to understand. Read more
