Unbelievable delivery, just a couple of days! (without any special delivery upcharge), The Bose Wave Radio arrived protected and pristine, packed carefully in multilayers of bubble wrap. It works perfectly (Great sound) as does the remote. It also came with the owners manual which looks like new. I am beyond very pleased. My Cost $199.00 plus $9.49 Shipping and Handling, Retail price when new $350.00. FOR THE AUDIOPHILE: I use this wave radio in concert with another one, one for the left channel and one for the right channel (I use two Radio Shack connectors, RCA mono female to 1/8" male stereo plug for each channel) and stand the units on end (for even signal or music cross referencing). I have a I Pod classic 160GB (3759 WAV files from CD's) connected to a Pure I-20 docking station which then goes through a DAC ITx DAC. Stunning detail, depth of field, and soundstage. This is my 4th Bose radio. I have one in my kitchen, one in my bedroom, and one in my office, that I have used for many years. The sound is great just as advertised and the remote is a nice feature as the radios are located a distance away so it's easy to mute or lower volume if needed during phone calls. The only negative I can say is my 4th and newest radio which I have in my RV, a large tour style bus, the radio is located on a console near the door and the remote is kept next to my recliner in the living room. Due to the fact the new radios no longer have controls on top, I need to return back to the remote by my recliner when exiting for the day, rather than just touching the off button on top as go out the door. The sale price of the product remained the same, while the cost to produce it was less by eliminating the controls on the radio. I would switch the RV radio with one from my home, except my home is in Illinois and my RV is parked and stored in AZ. and it would require I take the radio on my flight or pack and ship them, which I don't feel like doing.. Did an Extensive customer support session with Bose, unable to get any sound. Bose will not replace or repair. FYI, this Wave Radio II is over seven years old.
