We had another cheese slicer and it went walk about at some point...not sure where...but we needed another and shopping on Amazon turned up this Boska model. We liked the rating and we very much liked the one piece stainless construction. Ordered it and have been nothing but pleased with the purchase since getting it. We've used it on alot of different block cheeses and every has slice every one without issue. As expected, it is easy to clean and we're using it quite a bit with great results every time. I sort of wish it had a little more heft...it's really very light, but my wife loves the weight. In any case, it does what it's supposed to do and does it very well. Construction is excellent and despite the light weight it is not at all flimsy, but quite solid when using it...not too much flex at all.
