Love this collar
This collar is fantastic! We have been using it to train our 9 month old puppy who needed some extra guidance to stop some wild, destructive behavior that had led to biting our children. The multiple levels of shock are so helpful! He gets the collar quite wet a few times a week. I take it off if he’s going to be swimming fully, but leave it on when he splashes around in his kiddie pool and the creek in our backyard. We trained him first for several week that the beep meant “come and get a treat,” so there is a positive association with the collar. Then we moved towards using the vibration to get his attention when having a hard time listening, then shock to stop destructive behavior. He would chase the swing (biting the kids legs), and we were able to redirect that behavior within a few days of transitioning to using the low levels of shock. He was also chasing / attempting to bite the lawn mower and weed eater, and slightly higher shock taught him the danger without having the weed eater eventually hurting him. At almost 8 months old, he could walk off-leash with just the collar for redirection without any issues, which is Incredible given his high energy & zest for life. :) We had an issue with the first collar no longer pairing after about 2 months, but the manufacturer replaced it free of charge!
