This brace tends to run a little small. It's all one piece, in the way it was sewn together. To put it on, you stick your hand thru it like putting on a glove. There is a connecting piece of fabric connecting both sides. There are some velcro straps to tighten it up. Maybe that fabric is there to cover up the velcro straps so it doesn't irritate the skin on your arm, I don't know. But that fabric was the reason that it was making it small. It wasn't wide enough. I liked this brace because it can be used for the left hand or right hand. Inside there's a small pillow, similar to a mini bean bag. This fits in the palm of your hand. That makes it comfortable, but it can't it removed, unless you cut it out. I couldn't wear this brace because I have some extremely painful nerve issues in my hand. This made it extremely uncomfortable to wear. When I when I did wear it, my hand would be numb when I woke up in the morning. The issue was with my hand and not the product. I did my research on this brace. Before I purchased this product, I almost got a similar one at a retail store for much more money. This brace was much more reasonably priced, & nearly identical. Unfortunately it didn't work out for me. I ended up having to get a custom brace made. I would definitely say it's worth buying if it's just for carpal tunnel, strain or sprain. This product offers very good support & cushioning. I think it's definitely a good product, it just didn't work out for me. Read more
I needed something to prevent my wrist from folding during sleep making it fall asleep and waking me up, but also be comfortable to wear all night. This is the answer. I've worn this for a about a month and problem solved. It is plush and has an extra comfy soft bean bag like thing you can gently hold like a squishy ball and very natural position encouraging. Most importantly after having my wrist and hand in one comfortablr position for a while I end up not really feeling it and allows me to sleep all night with it. It gets a tad sweaty on hotter days but never has that woken me up or has been too uncomfortable. My favorite thing is being able to set the straps to where it is comfortable and then just slip my hand in and out of it without needing to take the tabs off and back on. This makes the Velcro tabs stay in one place better and won't deteriote the material over time which might make it less "Velcro friendly" in the future ( I have another guard for occasional carpal tunnel that has this problem from frequent readjustment). I haven't had a problem with tabs coming loose at all. For the price this looked better than anything that was much more expensive and had served my purpose well. Read more
I have been wearing this for about 2 weeks. The first couple of nights, I was removing it (without being aware that I was doing that) part way through the night. But now I have gotten used to it. It’s comfortable, fits right or left hand, and had soft bean-bag-like filler in the palm along with a metal spine that somewhat keeps you from flexing your wrist. I saw somewhat because you can flex slightly, but if it was like a full-on splint, I don’t believe it would be comfortable. I haven’t experienced any “relief” from carpal tunnel symptoms, but my doctor isn’t positive that it is carpal tunnel, so that could be why. But, overall, I’m pleased with the quality, strength, and comfort. Read more
Love it! Helps me stay asleep where as otherwise I’d be woken up by pain and numbness. Even when I forget to wear it, when I am woken up by pain and numbness, it fixes the issue right away. A bit pricey for what it is, but others are pricier and work the same so I’m satisfied. Read more

Helped my grandpa keep his paralyzed wrist straighter when it’s off so it no longer stays permanently bent. We put it on him at night and it doesn’t bother him as he sleeps. Not the best for people that sleep with their arm as a pillow obviously. But it’s effects are very reliable Read more
I've had two of these for about 2 years now and both have completely worn out the Velcro. A "hook and loop" fastener is supposed to have both hooks and loops, but this one only has the hook. Originally it fastened well against the felt-like material, but over time the material wore out until now it doesn't attach at all. Additionally, the hook part has an extremely rough, unfinished edge. I scraped myself on it a number of times over the years and it prevented me from pulling my arms closer to my body. As others have mentioned, the thumb hole is no ideal, but after I'd worn them for a while they softened up, or maybe I just got used to it. Overall I found them to be fairly comfortable to sleep in. My favorite part is the "bean bag" grip in the palm. It prevents me from balling my fists, which is a major problem for me. Read more
