The brackets fit my old pull up bars-These are great!
I have two bars, and originally several sets of brackets in various locations. Why, you might ask? My son is 6 ft 5 and I can't even reach the height he needs for a pull up bar. And my height for a pull up bar will cause the need for him to duck or get whacked in the head. Plus, I have one set of brackets set around waist level so I can grab the bar and pull back and stretch everything out. Works as a balance bar if I use a twist board or balance board. I have one set of brackets close to the floor to either hold my feet for sit ups or hang onto for leg lifts or trunk twists. This set was to give myself a place to hold onto where I wasn't over stretching but still above my head for a myriad of exercises. Easy in and out of the brackets for the bars when I need to move them, which I do often because with a 6' 5" person in the house, I try to avoid brain concussions for him. My only complaint is that the screws were too short for my application. I had half inch wall board, then wood and the screws were barely 1 inch, if that. I like a little more in to the wood to make me feel comfortable hanging on it. I still give it five stars. I have been searching for a set of these for years. Read more
