Growing up we always had a brita pitcher at home, and trying one as an adult I get why. It’s super easy to use, and the water ends up tasting really, really good. Easy to store in a fridge even if you have a lot of other stuff in there, and holds plenty of water. Honestly I’d give it 4.5 stars if half stars were an option; it’s great overall but I’d caution that it’s slightly more fragile than it looks. My preschooler was trying to get himself some water, dropped it, and unfortunately it got a big crack in it. I know that’s not the pitcher’s fault; just would be nice if it was a touch more durable! I really love this Brita water filtering pitcher. We actually own two—one for everyday use at home and another that stays in our RV—and they’ve both been excellent. We use it daily for drinking water as well as making iced tea and coffee, and the improvement in taste is very noticeable. Filtered water makes a big difference, especially for coffee. I run the water through the charcoal filter and then let it sit overnight, and the result is a much smoother, better-tasting brew the next morning. The 10-cup capacity is practical without taking up too much space in the refrigerator, and the filter installation is quick and straightforward. Holds a good amount of water so you don't have to constantly refill it, but the container itself seems flimsy and thin, cheap plastic that would break easy. We shall see. Also, they sent the cheaper filter instead of the one advertised. May be a seller issue. Reported it to Amazon. Read more
