Worth It!
I'm not a professional chef, but I have been cooking most of my life. I used to have a cheap set of knives that I got from Wally World and thought they were okay. They lasted for years until one day one of the handles broke on the knife I used the most. I bought these after doing a lot of looking. My old set probably cost me $20 back in 2010, so I was a little uneasy spending this much money on knives. Holy cow! I had no idea what I had been missing! These knives are absolutely fantastic! They are razor sharp, well made (solid blade to handle), and perfectly balanced. I had read a lot of reviews talking about rust. I've had mine about 2-3 months and I haven't seen the first sign of rust. I was paranoid at first, making sure to dry them immediately after washing. But, sometimes I forget and they will sit in the drainer to dry. Still no rust! I cannot recommend these knives enough! Read more
