Bought this for my wife and at first she was iffy if she would like it. Well, she loves it. Simple to install if you have basic mechanical, or plumbing knowledge. The supply hoses are a bit stiff, but work well. We did order the filter and put that on. We give this a 5* rating. Up until this week when we realized our seat was cracked and started pinching our posteriors we would have given Brondell 5 stars hands down. Unfortunately within the last week our seat cracked, we contacted Brondell promptly, but Brondell has yet to contact us in response. We do have a one year warranty on the product. It is a nice warm toilet seat with a water feature that cleans front or back, has several adjustable positions and intensities. The spray is normally warm (unless your husband shuts it off while fumbling with it) although the remote is a bit difficult to program so we have never programmed it to our personalized preferences. Overall, I feel that this has been a great investment based on it lasting longer than 10 months. BTW neither of us even comes close to exceeding the 320lb seat weight limit. So I hope that by posting this, Brondell reaches out to us and helps us resolve this issue, if not, our review will change to 1 star with massive sadness and disappointment. Ordered this to replace the SE400 that had started to leak unrepairably after 8 years of good service. I thought I'd save a couple of bucks and get this one instead. Wish I had stayed with the tried and true. Too much of a hassle to return after installing, and who the hell wants a used bidet? This works fine but[t]..... the seat temp and the water temp are both cooler. The wand makes more noise and takes longer to extend, and the spray is not as strong. It also makes my bathroom lights flicker when spraying so must be a higher power draw as the old one didn't have that effect. The mounting hardware is also different than the SE400 but still easy to install. So, this is a fine products and does the job, but for a little extra $ I'd strongly recommend the SE400 model. We love this bidet as it was a solid upgrade over our previous non-plug in, only cold water bidet since this one warmed the water and had a remote control? Sold. If it was the bidet only I was reviewing it would be a 5/5. However, bidet functioned great for almost a year, until last month, when the nozzle quit retracting into the base of the unit. We couldn't use the toilet unless we taped the nozzle into the unit, and then we're only left with an expensive seat. I opened a ticket with Brondell support since we were still under the year warranty, explained the issue, provided pictures and was absolutely shocked with what they asked of me next. They want me to detach the bidet seat (which also functions as our toilet set) and send the seat back to them. They would cover the cost of the repair and shipping to and from but they needed to "diagnose" the issues themselves. I told support I already diagnosed the issue and would be left without a toilet seat for several weeks while they did the repair and sent the seat back, so I would have to go out and buy a normal toilet seat in the meantime, and if I were to go and do that, I'm spending more money than I already did because their seat broke. Customer service would not budge, and so, I said I was no longer interested in a warranty replacement because its kind of absurd to expect a customer of yours to detach and ship back the seat as opposed to sending out a replacement and then having your customer ship the broken one back like every company does in 2025. Nice bidet, but awful customer service, totally earning that 1/5, and I won't be shopping this brand or recommending to people in the market for a bidet in the future.
