Pretty comfortable socks and the wool helps to retain heat. Perfect for me since I'm usually hot bodied and the size was pretty snug too so no issues there. Definitely a quality product! I will say that if you are naturally a cold person these might not be as helpful for you since my wife is like that and stated she didn't really feel warm with them but for me they are perfect! These socks are comfortable and warm …. Just as advertised ! I gave them only 4 stars because there is one issue that May be of concern for some …. They are overly tight at the calf …. Pretty good item. As thick as you would expect a wool winter sock to be. Certainly not a thin sock. I don't need different shoes, but expect your tennis shoes to fit much tighter, and it is less noticeable in a hiking boot. Seems to wash up well, comes shrink/vacuum packed. Warmth is what I'd expect from a wool sock. Black is nice for dressier pants or dress shoes since so many wool socks are beige. Read more
