The Bynex 2-inch gel memory foam mattress topper has made a difference in my sleep quality. It adds just the right amount of cushioning without feeling too soft, or too firm. One thing I've found is that these gel/memory foam toppers do tend to make it a bit warmer in bed. I notice a small change, even with a mattress pad and sheet on top. It's a small difference, but something to keep in mind. It fit perfectly on my mattress and stayed in place without sliding around. Update: it was good for a couple months but then it started to lose its support and if you want something soft I would recommend this but if you want something more firm and more supportive I would recommend looking at a firm mattress topper. I really wanted to love this but it was just hurting my back way too much and I needed something more firm for my scoliosis, bulging disc and other back problems that I have. I would wake up very sore and in pain but if you have a firm mattress this would be something that you could consider since it's such a good price but unfortunately for me it did not last that long especially when I realized that I needed something more firm. Even if it was 3 inches, it still wouldn't have been a good fit for me. It was a very good price that's why I rate this a 3 star instead of a one star. Also it is not hot to sleep on in my opinion which was also another reason why it got a three-star. Original Post 5 star: I definitely noticed that my body pain has definitely went down since I started sleeping on this and it sleeps very neutral! I wanted to buy a 2 inch to see how it would be but I think I could have went to 3 inches. I bought a 3-in mattress topper from Walmart and it was not only hot but it was way too soft and had to return. But with this it is completely different in many positive ways! I am definitely buying from this brand again but I will have to get this in a 3-inch next month. I might update to talk about the difference between the two and which one I like better. This is a totally awesome piece of memory foam. It supports my body and neck which allows me to get a good night's rest. After surgery and through the rehab I could not get a goodnight sleep.
