This ointment was recommended by my twin’s pediatrician after a really bad diaper rash and it has been the best ointment hands down! It’s a super thick consistency which I really like. It smells pleasant and does on smooth like frosting. It doesn’t rub off very easily with the diaper application and is a good price for the giant tube that you get. My babies still get diaper rashes from time to time but not super severe like the first time and they heal quickly with this product. I’ve read other reviews and came to find out it has a cooling sensation which I bet babies really like. I like it and will continue to use it on my babies. Read more

Yes it heals fissures, prevents infection and takes the pain away. Don’t pay attention to the “external use only” thing, this actually works (and is recommended by doctors for it).
