This patch is large enough to cover most holes and tears in boat and car covers. I used it on my boat cover where the boat line cleats had worn holes through the cover. The patch went on easily and adheres very well. The patch is very thick and tough and will outlast my boat cover. I put the patch on the inside of the cover so you don't even see it. This way the patch and not the cover comes into contact with the cleats. I also cut some pool noodle sections and made slit in it to attach to my cleats for additional padding. These seem to be very durable. Very easy to install, I cleaned the service with rubbing alcohol and made sure it was dried and peeled the back off and stuck to the RV cover. I haven’t seen these go through a winter yet, but they seem to be good quality. If they don’t hold, I will update in the spring. Read more
