JR Products 10121 Premium Vinyl Insert - White 1 x 100

This roll of vinyl strip had me missed for the first 20 min of trying to work with it, until i realized i was instaling it backwards haha. The curved edges face OUT when instaling it. Fantastic product. Extremly easy to work with when you put it in the correct way. Little time consuming if you have as much to replace as i did (the entire roll) but simple and fantastic end result. I suggest letting it sit in the sun for an hour and work with it on a warm to hot day. More flexible when its warm. Unsightly cap moling screws no more. Glad i read the reviews and sprung for this over the cheap camco alternative. Worth it! Stuff feels thick, heavy and strong like rubber i expect it to last. The 100 foot roll goes a long way. I installed this on my Class C on the front and back. I used both a screwdriver and the screen spline installation tool, to install it. That was not difficult. I made sure the top was tight and top it with caulk. On the bottom I allowed for some shrinkage, because of other reviews. It is too early to know if that was wise or not. Now that it is done, the RV looks much better. Before ordering this, I ordered the CAMCO product. I ordered this soon after receiving the CAMCO and I think this will be more durable. The difference in quality of this product and the original product I was removing is night and day. The only downside to this having a better shape and thickness....its harder to install. I have a 44' toy hauler and I was replacing the trim at the rain gutters so I had a lot to do. When I started it was cooler and I was starting to wonder if I could even get this done, but as others have said once the sun came out it became much easier, I suggest warming it before you start. I read reviews where people said it shrunk so when I installed I was carful to not pull or stretch it and I also left a couple inches long on each end. I let it sit that way for 4 days and then trimmed it, there wasn't any movement that I could tell. This is clearly better than the other products and the little bit of extra effort in install I am sure will mean it will last much much longer. Read more

Brand new RV and the 3rd trip out both front sides came out and was flapping in the wind. Dealer is 60 miles away. Cost for round trip for warranty vs doing myself was a no brainier. Received the JR Products and it was much, much better quality than the OEM. Real easy install. Last trip no and no problems. I will be replacing all of the other ones on our RV with JR. Read more

Real quality insert! Having worked building RVs for 10 years, I installed a lot of insert molding. At times the company I worked for would change suppliers. I’ve seen the good stuff and the cheap stuff. I can say that this is the good stuff. Bright white, it really makes a difference in the look of an RV to replace the insert. Ordered 50’ to see what it was like. I’ve already ordered another 100’. In the process of replacing all the insert on my 2008 Rockwood Windjammer. I would absolutely recommend JR’s insert. Read more

Much better product than the Camco brand. Looks great, low shrinkage and holds up to the sun in the south. Easy to install, just make sure that you do not stretch the product when you install it. Read more
