The media could not be loaded. Wasn’t expecting much from this little gadget, but it actually came in pretty clutch during a recent hotel trip where I just didn’t feel right about the room. I used the red light scanner mode to check for hidden lenses, turns out there was a weird reflection near the TV stand, so I moved rooms just in case. It’s lightweight, fits easily in my bag, and the battery lasted about three days on a single charge with casual use. The alert sounds and vibration settings can be adjusted, which was helpful since I didn’t want to draw attention in public spaces. One thing I will say is the instruction manual was a bit hard to follow, it’s got some translation quirks, so I ended up watching a few videos online to figure out all the functions. Also, the detection radius seems to be closer to 6–8 feet rather than the full 18 square meters they mention. Still, it picked up a Bluetooth tracker someone had hidden under my car (long story), so I was impressed. It does take some practice to learn what’s a false alarm vs. real signal, especially in places with lots of electronics around. If you’re someone who travels often or just wants to double-check sketchy Airbnbs or shared office spaces, this isn’t a bad pickup at all, I’d say it’s worth having just for the peace of mind.
