Some weighted vests are north of $100 and thats for the 20lb option. I bought this one for $52 which is a steal - what I like about it is it does not have any design flaw where others do. The velcro wrap is a plus as you want to be able to get it off quickly should you tire out and need to remove it. The only negative is the color. The camouflage color makes it look like a flak jacket and I often get stares when I am running at a sports facility. I even had one elderly lady ask me what my jacket was so it would be smart to offer a color choice. Read more

I've wore the vest a few times now for walking my dog on hills. It definitely causes me to exert more energy as I find myself getting weak faster. I like to do lunges while walking and definitely can feel the extra 40 lbs. I think the weight might be a bit much but I can pull out a couple of the weight bags. Overall...pleased with the vest.
