Beautiful set without all of the extra stuff. I love that it doesn’t have serrated blades. Have always been looking for a set like this. Blades are sharp, so be careful. The block is a beautiful piece. Have only had for about 1 month or so, but working for me. I follow directions and dry knives right after being washed and so far no spots or rusting. I also like the fact that all of the knives holders are angled so the blades are not resting on the wood. An added bonus. Would definitely recommend.
