This is a pretty standard dog bed. Overall, there's not much difference between this bed and something you could grab at a big box store for $15-20. For scale: my dog pictured is a chihuahua mix and weighs around 9lbs. The bed is shipped in two layers of plastic: one loose bag around the bed, and one thicker plastic holding it in a cylinder. It's not overly compressed and fluffs up fine after unwrapping. The cushion is thick enough the dogs will use it on tile floor. My main issue for 4 stars instead of 5 is the three gray fabrics don't work well together. I'm not sure if my pictures show it clearly, but it is very noticeable in person. The base is a light blue gray, the sides are a medium neutral gray, and the piping is a darker blue gray. Read more
