I've cycled through multiple car cell phone holders. Suction cup or adhesive mounted holders ultimately fail, and vent clip holders never seem to be secure enough. This holder hangs securely from my rear-view mirror. I like that it's level with my line of sight, but doesn't obstruct it, so I'm not required to glance down at my phone. I have to send back because it doesnt work for the structure of my car, but the product was well enough made I decided to do a review. One thing to remember is that cell phone holders are not a one-sided fits all. Pros: -It does what it claims to do. Moves from left to right, extends and retracts. -Even tho it is plastic, it's of decent quality. -arms that go around the mirror are spring loaded and holds securely. -All moving parts moves smoothly and tighten easily. -Well packaged. I can tell they company cares about their product. Cons: -Obstructs view. There is no way it couldn't no matter what position you put it. -If you are short and need the seat up higher, it obstructa the view even more. In summary, if I needed this as a gift for someone who really wanted a rearview mirror holder, I would buy it for them. BEST phone holder yet! It's secure! Even if ya bump into it by accident- nothing falls or comes off. Had to wiggle it a pinch for the rear view mirror - snugged it up - fits fantastic in my Lincoln. Holds a Samsung phone AND I can tap on the screen and no swiveling or sliding around in the cradle. Yes, it looks somewhat 'bulky' but I can't take a chance on any chaos with a baby in the car. This is one of those things where you get what you pay for. The mount works just as intended, where all it really does is hold your phone. However, the clamping Force that it has on the mirror is very weak, and the bottom part tends to slip out more often than not at while I'm driving, forcing me to reseat it at nearly every other stop while I'm on the road. It's a pretty hard product to recommend unless you're really in a pinch. If you're able to put extra money aside for a better quality one with better mounting capabilities, I would go that route instead. Read more

I absolutely love this phone holder. I have tried so many that are supposed to stick to Windows or the dashboard and they don't work or that go in the cup but then you don't have that cup area available to you. And the ones that do have the cup area where you can still use it or so expensive. I've bought it three times one for myself one for my sister and one for a brother.
