Car Vent Magnetic Phone Mount Compatible with 2021-2025 Ford F-150 2022-2024 F-150 Lightning XL PRO 2023-2025 Ford Super

I just purchased a used 2021 F150 XLT and unlike my previous 2021 F150 Platinum, this truck does not have the wireless charger in the console storage tray. I decided to get a mount that I could leave connected via a spiral USB cable which would allow for the phone to charge while using Apple CarPlay. I looked at options and there were not too many out there. I landed on this one and decided to give it a shot. Installing it was easy using the included instructions. It does not fit through the actual air vent which you use to control/direct air flow. It attaches to the air vent frame and once installed, it's super sturdy. Once I got everything positioned where I wanted it (it has plenty of adjustment built into it), I tested out the charging of my phone which works perfectly. Additionally, since the vent will be blowing air onto the back of the phone while charging, I expect it will have less overheating issues in comparison to the charger on my prior F150 Platinum. If you pair this with a USB-C to USB-C spiral cable, it makes for a clean installation that's visible if you need it, but also out of the way. This car vent magnetic phone mount was easy to install following the instructions. It’s heavy duty and made of pretty solid material. The magnet strength is great. The phone adhered to it tightly all throughout the drive. I received the non-chargeable mount so that was a bummer. I still need to hook up a charger cord to the phone if needed to be charged. Overall, it fits great and doesn’t cover the vent fully. The design itself allows you to still have full view of the road while driving. Read more

2025 F250. This took a little longer than I’d hoped (but exactly the estimate) to arrive and when it did, I was disappointed because I thought it wasn’t made for my truck. However, I abandoned the instructions and… WOW. NICE! This mount definitely fits like an OEM part and it also holds my phone very securely (I have an iPhone with MagSafe). The mount to the air vent is very clever, very strong, and non damaging to the dash while still allowing full use of the air vent, and the metal parts are really well made. This is hands down better than the suction mount I was using, and having the articulating arm is great for positioning. I am legendarily frugal and I think the price I paid is just right. If I’d got it for five percent off I’d think I got a real deal. But as is, the price is fair for such a quality mount. For anyone who did not read the description it also comes with metal rings you can use on non magnetic phones and cases. The rings stick to the magnet so strongly I had a problem getting it off. But I’m not using those just now and put them (2) back in the box. It also comes with additional cut foam to protect your dash, and the Allen wrench needed for assembly. Nice! I’m pleasantly surprised. The magnet is good enough to hold my 17 pro max with an otter box case, off-road. That’s all you need. And it holds it in either landscape or portrait orientation. Built very solid! Very firm grip on vent frame that still lets you adjust your vent flow, so does not affect moving the vents at all. The magnets are super strong. I hid my wire behind the trum of my f150 Lariat so there is no wire visible at all. The arms allow you to adjust it upwards so no air is blocked from AC at all.
