This phone mount was as exactly as described. Fit my 2016 RAM perfectly and now I use it every time I get in my truck. So easy to install, but remember to use the sticky tape or it will vibrate on rough roads. It's perfect for using Google maps or whatever app you need for travel. It looks like it was factory installed! Allows you to be hands free and concentrating on the road. I occasionally use it to film driving situations. Works just as explained in the description! Comes with one tool to adjust the position to your liking and then once locked it doesn't move except small adjustments. Quality built out of metal and plastic, but very much worth the price! Item was easy to install, seems good and sturdy after 3 days of doordashing, and was compatible with the phone cradle from my vent mounted holder that I like better than the one it came with. I have already recommended to a couple of friends who also own Rams. Read more
At long last, a phone mount that is sturdy and functional. I had to buy a new case for my phone to make the magnetic part work with my S24 Ultra. FYI, Magbak is a fantastic solution. I do a lot of driving over rough roads and now my phone mount no longer is a worry. Installation is is very simple. I give it an A+. Also, I don't write many reviews because I am not often impressed. This fit my 2013 Ram 2500 perfectly. It's a solid mount and the mount, ball, and almost everything is made of Al! it'll hold up! the ball is 1" (25mm?) on one side and 17mm? on the other. a great reducer if you need it. Read more
This is a pretty cool little phone mount! It's not universal, and made specifically for our Ram truck. I'm not sure if you ever found a good use for that little area above the radio, but other than maybe sitting a pen or a small pair of glasses in there, it's pretty useless. You know what I mean!! This phone mount utilizes that space well, and is really sturdy. When I'm driving, the phone barely moves. Multiple joints allow it to be used at many different angles, except for horizontal. The way the mount is set up, it always has to stay vertical, which is why I took one star off. If there were a top and bottom bracket as well as the side brackets, it could be turned horizontal, but there is only side brackets and one on the bottom. It's not a huge deal, but for using maps it would be nice to be able to turn it sideways. Overall, still a great product that I recommend. Read more
The media could not be loaded. 2017 ram 1500 sport. easy installation.The screws that come with it are not the same size as the manufacturer screws you take out.You would have to use the manufacturer screws to screw it in.Didnt have to use the adhesive being that it did not sit low enough to use the adhesive so I left it on there.Overall its great phone holder.
