Unfortunately, this cardigan was a major disappointment. The biggest issue is the fabric as it's extremely itchy and scratchy against the skin. I couldn't get past how uncomfortable the fibers felt, making it unwearable for me. Style & Fit: The fit itself was okay, and it actually looked cute worn open for a casual look. However, buttoned up it gave off serious retirement home vibes, definitely not the appearance I was hoping for. The versatility was limited. Quality: Right out of the package, the top button was already broken and the threading was unraveling. For a brand-new item, this is unacceptable and shows poor construction quality. The material is mid, but the style is cute for fall. It's going to be a good layering piece for the fall. However, I don't know how well it will hold up. I dried it on a delicate setting for 15 minutes and then air dried for the evening. I washed it before wearing it and it's already pilling on the arms. It's super cute for the price and the color is true to the picture. I am 119 lbs, 5'1 and the length is good on me, I could go down a size, but I want to layer it with a tshirt underneath, so I prefer the medium for a looser look. Update, 10/13/25: I've washed this sweater twice now with a 20 minute tumble dry and then air dry the rest of the time. There is slight pilling from the first wash, but it's warm and soft. I really like this sweater. It's easily my favorite sweater for this fall. 4/5 stars, but I suppose not all sweaters are anti-pill proof. Read more
