I bought one of the cheap ones, but this one is way better. The cheap one took a long time to trim the nails. This one works great and fast too. It’s nice and quiet. Our dog doesn’t even flinch. I would recommend this unit. Read more
Right Out of the Box It came charged and ready to go, which was a nice touch. No waiting around to use it - just turn it on and get started. Always appreciate when a rechargeable product ships with a charge. Speed Settings The 6 adjustable speeds are really useful. You can start low to get your dog comfortable with the sensation and work your way up. It gives you a lot of control over how aggressive the grinding is, which is important when you're dealing with different nail thicknesses or a nervous pup. The Noise Factor Here's where I have mixed feelings. The listing emphasizes "super quiet" and it definitely isn't loud - I'll give it that. But it's not as quiet as I was hoping for either. It's somewhere in between. My dog doesn't freak out over it, so it's quiet enough to get the job done without a meltdown. But if you have a dog that's extremely noise-sensitive, just know it's not silent. Performance It does everything it claims to do. Grinds nails down smoothly without any snagging or pulling. The grinder itself feels comfortable to hold and the rechargeable battery lasts through a full grooming session without dying on me. Bottom Line It's a solid nail grinder that performs well and gives you good control with the speed options. Just go in with realistic expectations on the noise level - it's quieter than most, but "super quiet" is a stretch. If you're looking for a reliable, rechargeable nail grinder with adjustable speeds, this gets the job done. Your dog might not love nail grinding regardless, but at least this tool makes the process smoother for both of you. Read more

This is pretty amazing! Our dog would scurry around the house as soon as toe cutting scissors were seen and he would fight so terribly to get nails trimmed. During trimming, the nails would crack and splinter, depending on how long they were or their condition. Unfortunately, sometimes bleeding when we got too close to the quick. Enter the Casfuy 6-speed dog nail grinder. I was skeptical my dog would let me use this as we tried a well known pet nail grinder in the past and our dog HATED it. So, purchasing this , I was a bit scared as to what reaction I would receive. I am happy to report, our dog does not mind this nail grinder. He lays on his dog bed, relaxed and allows me to grind his nails to the correct length. He does have a couple sensitive nails, which I have to hold tightly to while grinding, but that's no issue. I am very impressed with this nail grinder. It is quiet, effective and safe to use on our dog's nails and has decreased the amount of stress we all experience with nail maintenance. The light is a wonderful feature as well. Thank you for this great product!! Read more
I absolutely love this project m. It’s strong enough to get through thick nails and is very quiet. With the guard on I’m not worried about hurting myself on accident. It is not heavy and is very comfortable to use. It’s so easy to use and I’m very happy with this purchase. Read more
Works well. I like the light option - makes it easier to see where the quick is. My dog tolerates the nail grinder so that makes it easier to use. I’ve only used the first level of speed. Easy to see how quickly it grinds down the claw, even at the slowest speed. If your dog has shaggy hair on the paws like mine does, you need to make sure that there’s no hair that can get caught in the grinder. It doesn’t hurt the dog, just matts the chunk of hair that got caught. The battery lasts a long time. I charged it once (when I got it) and have used it during four grooming sessions so far. The pros are quick to charge, smooth and quiet. Cons are it slow to remove the nail; more so on black nails. They will work OK on our 5+ pound chihuahuas with white nails... but the older dogs will not sit still long enough for slow process of grinding. They are not useable on our smaller 3 pound chihuahuas - too big to get into their small paws. We still use the clippers (have to use bird clippers on the little ones) and only use this when needed to smooth out a sharp nail. I could not see using this on a big dog like a lab... We used to use another name brand (worked great) but the sound and vibration bother our dogs. Read more
This is my 3rd week just using this as a “massager” for my dog. She is very skiddish and hates nail clippers. I started just with letting her see it on and then just touching her back with it while I gave her a treat. The 2nd week I just touched her leg and paws with it on so she felt the vibration and gave her a treat. I did not try to grind the nail until 3rd week. Now she will let me do her front paws with hardly any flinching! We are working on the back paws next week. My recommendation is to go slow and steady and use treats while doing it ! It is fast and quiet. I’m very happy. No smell good weight safe and easy. Read more
