Ceiling Fans with Lights and Remote 60 Inch Industrial Ceiling Fan with Light for Bedroom Living Room Black

This is going to be a two person review....I (wife) love this fan. It is pretty while serving a practical purpose. I wanted a sophisticated look with some glam and bling and this certainly delivers that. This was installed in our 20x20'master bedroom for a dramatic look, but would go great in a dining area too. It is shipped from China and I had my doubts as to what shape it would be in when it arrived. Despite the thinness of the cardboard it arrived without any undue dents and tears in the packaging. The light and fan are separately switched so in the winter it is great to use the light without having to use the fan. The electrician didn't complain about having to thread every round bubble onto the different chains and it has a lot of them in different graduated sizes. He also had to install the blades of the fan on the housing. This maybe added an extra hour to the job. This is where the review takes a turn....I switched on the light. The light bulbs are all very small LED's and looks beautiful shinning through the bubbles. My lighting engineer of a husband gave that to me at least, then he said he hated it! He never wanted to see it on again while he was around. LED lighting can be very bright, and this is. To be honest it lights up every nook and cranny in that 20x20' room without a problem. His big problem with it is that the Lumens are too high meaning that the light is a bright piercing light like you would have in a factory setting instead of being in the 2700 lumen range that most people like. Yes it is certainly on the top end of the range and as these are built right into the light, they cannot be changed out nor tuned off. To keep everyone happy it would be well to consider this. As far as the fan is concerned, the blades are tucked away without notice and they come out in an elegant sweep and do a good job of moving air. That part of this light will be well used at least. I love this fan!!! We recently moved to a new home and there was an old, ugly fan in the living room area that had to go. After a lot of research I finally landed on this fan and I am so glad I did. The size is amazing and fills our space nicely and the fan itself looks so nice and modern, The colors go perfectly with my multi tone grey flooring. The fan is very strong and moves a lot of air. The remote works perfectly and the price is a huge bonus. I was able to catch the fan on sale and saved even more. I love this fan and I am so happy with our purchase! Read more

This is a great looking fan I purchased to replace the contractor grade generic fan that was installed in my new home. Assembly was a little more challenging than your average big box store fans but still fairly easy. It looks great in my living room, runs silently, and pushes a lot of air. My only disappointment is that it is not dimmable and you cannot change the color of the light. With most of these fans you can change from a bluish daylight or soft white. This light remains at a soft white which is okay but that feature would have been nice. One odd behavior is when you turn the fan on it thinks for a few seconds to regulate and then spins up. It has been just over 3 months that I bought this gorgeous fan/chandelier and I can not tell you how much I love it! Actually my husband loves it just as much as I do! We had no problem putting in our bedroom but I have to say that we live in a new build and the support was already in the ceiling so we did not have to change according to the weight of this very heavy fan. We have absolutely no vibration and the fan is so quiet that sometimes I forget to turn of in the morning when we wake! The tinted crystals are big and beautiful! The light is bright and I love that I can see all of my bedroom and not feel like I am in the dark ages using candlelight. My husband and I have been showing off our bedroom since we installed. The remote control works great. At night I carry it to my night table and in the morning I place it back on the wall when leaving the room. You can use the wall switch to turn on/off the light but if you are like me and want to turn the fan on/off throughout the night, just leave the wall switch on always and use the remote control for light and/or fan. I actually wanted to place a picture but every picture I take with my phone does not look as gorgeous and this fan/chandelier is! I am very pleased with Parrot Uncle and plan on buying another one in another color when we are finished painting the rest of our home! Read more

This is a great ceiling fan. This is the second fan I have bought I the past 2 weeks, different ones. The first one, from Home Depot, was great, everything worked perfectly except it felt the fan speed was too slow for the size. This one here the fan speed feels a bit better but whoever designed it, should be fired. This is where it went wrong. The installation is easy. Where it fails is if you are gonna instal it on a sloped ceiling. The designer of this fan didn't consider that if the fan is installed on a sloped ceiling, the holding part of the rod, the top end of it is gonna slant. Therefore, it is gonna take away space from the already tight one the remote receiver box takes between the ceiling and the holding bracket. When you try to insert the remote receiver box, the rod gets in the way. You would have to get a smaller receiver box or not install it; which is impossible because the fan doesn't operate without it. Or, you would have to open up the box, take all the skeleton out and install it without the box cover. So, the final option is just return the whole thing and go back to the one I had originally had purchased from Home Depot. So, for the vendor, please give me a solution. My advise to you is make a smaller remote receiver box that would fit just fine, even when the fan is installed on a sloped ceiling. Oh, and send your fan designer back to designer school!! He needs to learn common sense. Read more
