I go through alot of measuring tapes, I've tried 80 dollar one's vrs 20. So far it's holding up although tape starting to rip on the edges. It's a good price, worth the gamble. Read more
The media could not be loaded. So i ordered two of these, the 100’ (30 meter) and the 330’(90 mater). Both arrived and seem to be in good working order. I verified lengths on both tapes are accurate and reel bodies seem sturdy and good quality. The description says materials of the reel are vinyl, fiberglass and metal. I would assume the spike and handle were metal but i could not get a magnet to stick to them. They may be aluminum or some other non-ferrous metal. *THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS* the larger reel’s 330’ (90 meter) original packaging was damaged somehow and the rubber tip cover for precise marking is gone. Not a big deal to me but someone else may need that. My reels came in an Amazon cardboard box with other items i had ordered at the same time that wasn’t damaged so the original packaging got damaged some other way. Again, great product, got 2 different sizes from same seller and both have met my expectations for what i paid for, just a slight hiccup with packaging but nothing worth not leaving a 5 star review on. I've got an odd shaped acre with no boundary fencing on 3 sides. The longest run is 320' from the back fence to a corner boundary marker. The terrain is not perfect but the Champion reel worked well. Kept the tape taut over the whole distance, easy to maneuver at length; had to unhitch the tape when it got caught on a low hanging branch. Didn't have to walk back to fix it. Accurate. It matched my land survey. Keeping tension on the line, it was easy to roll up when I was finished. I've been able to make the markings I need to install a fence. The tape reel will also help with future garden and landscaping projects, which will use spaces with 100+ feet in length. Great product. Definitely recommend. Read more
