This cashmere sweater from Chanyarn is luxuriously soft. I have three sweaters from Chanyard now I I am very impressed with this company's dedication to quality and affordable luxury. This cashmere sweater feels so wonderful and luxurious against my skin. The sweater has classic styling and will never go out of style. I chose it in black which is my go-to color, and already have worn this sweater with black dress pants for an all-black outfit (I added a colorful scarf), and with dark red velvet pants. It looked great with both and I'm sure I will create many more outfits around this sweater. It adds an upscale, luxurious vibe to my inexpensive dress pants, and as mentioned earlier it will never go out of style. I included a couple of photos but black hides a lot of detail in photos, so my photos aren't that great. The seller's photos show the sweater well (lighter colors show up better). I like the seamless construction as it is a sign of high quality and it gives the sweater such a smooth, upscale look. After looking at the size chart, I chose size Large since my bust is about 39 or 40 inches, and the sweater fits nicely, neither too tight nor too loose, about how it fits the model.. You may want to size up if you prefer a looser fit. This sweater had a number of creases in it from being folded for shipping (which is expected). I was worried about ironing cashmere, so I steamed it with my little hand-held clothing steamer (another terrific Amazon find) and the creases fell out very quickly and easily. Chanyarn advises to only hand-wash this sweater, and those are typical washing instructions for cashmere in my experience. They also advise laying the sweater out flat to dry it. These care instructions take a little more thought than throwing an article of clothing in the washer and dryer, but hand-washing and flat drying is very easy to do, and it is totally worth it to enjoy the softness of cashmere. First off, i admit i have never had an actual cashmere anything, so i am not knowledgeable enough to judge the quality of the fabric. I did do some reading, and the whole "Chinese vs Scottish cashmere" doesn't seem to hold much water for the real experts. I can only provide my clumsy impressions and experience with this particular sweater. I did do the "burn test" with the provided thread, and it sure seems to be authentic cashmere. This sweater is light weight but warmer than i expected, given the weight. The fabric is a very tight knit, slightly fuzzy (yet somehow smooth too?), and soft. It's very nice feeling. The black color is a true black. The V neck is not deep enough for modesty to be an issue, but it's a nice style detail. The arms are just barely long enough for me, but i have longer arms, and that's a common problem for me. Honestly, it's a very nice sweater with a classic look that goes with anything. I enjoy wearing it! The only reason for 4 stars is that it's really too expensive for my budget, and the fabric doesn't blow me away. Again, I'm no judge of cashmere fabric, and I'm not fancy enough to truly appreciate the subtleties, I'm sure. As far as cashmere sweaters go, this one seems to be priced pretty well and the knit is tight. So, if you're in the market, this seems to be a solid choice. Read more

Chanyarn makes some great items and this sweater is definitely no different! My wife absolutely loves how soft it is since it is 100% cashmere. She put it on and immediately talked about how cozy it felt against her skin. The black color is very classic and the V neck cut looks fantastic on her!
