Truth be told, this is my very first cashmere anything. And now? I get it. I get the hype. Holy softness. This sweater is like being gently hugged by a cloud that knows your love language. For someone with sensory sensitivities, ordering sweaters online is a gamble—but this one? Pure bliss. I’m 5’6”, 140 lbs, 36C, and forever caught in the liminal space between Medium and Large. I sized up to a Large, and I’m glad I did. It’s got a little extra room in the bust, but the shoulders fit just right. The arms are a tad fitted, which might be how “real” well-fitting sweaters are supposed to feel, I’m so used to ordering oversized. I usually like more room in my sweaters, but I’ll make an exception for this beauty. Without anything underneath, it’s a perfect fit. You may want to consider sizing up if you like to wear shirts underneath. The navy blue is rich and saturated, and the texture? Divine. Light-to-medium weight, but surprisingly warm. The V-neck is perfectly placed—modest enough to skip the cami, which is a rare and welcome win. It’s got a nice amount of stretch, and the buttons have a subtle shine that adds just the right amount of polish. Laundry-wise, I played it safe: delicate cycle, mesh bag, no wringing. I want this beauty to last. It’s the nicest sweater I’ve ever owned, and it makes me feel like the kind of person who drinks tea from a real cup and has opinions about cashmere goats. Nothing beats cashmere for luxurious softness. This cashmere cardigan is sooooo soffffft. I just love it, and it's a classic that will never go out of style. I chose it in beige and it is a light heathered beige that has a warm golden cast. I chose the size L based on my bust measurement and the size chart. My bust is about 39-40 and that's what the size chart recommended, and this worked out well as the sweater fits great, not too loose and not too tight. It fits best worn alone as a shirt or over a thinner shirt or a sleeveless shell. If you need this cardigan for wearing over thicker shirts you might want to go up one size. The buttons have a pretty iridescence that gently reflects the light. I might prefer light-colored buttons on this light-colored cardigan, but the buttons are lovely and add a nice little pop of contrast. The front of the cardigan has a slight texture while the sleeves and back have a smoother texture. I tried to show this in my photos but the difference is somewhat subtle so it may not be easy to see. The cashmere is super soft and of course feels great. It arrived with creases from being folded, which of course I expected, but i used an inexpensive hand-held clothing steamer (also from Amazon) and was happily surprised at how quickly, easily and thoroughly the wrinkles fell out with a little steam. It is hand-wash only, which is expected for cashmere. Drying flat is also recommended. Overall, it's a beautiful sweater and the soft warm beige is lovely. The cashmere feels so luxurious. The texture of this feels more like merino wool than the feel I’m used to with Kashmir, but it’s still a beautiful sweater. The product page explains that we can expect you to soften with use and washing, and that the tighter weave in the yard helps it resist pilling. It’s very well-made; the craftsmanship is beyond anything I’ve seen in a mass production cardigan. It’s a knit in that is made, and the garment constructed in the same process, so seams and shaping are constructed rather than sewn together. It’s a light layer, warm, comfortable, beautiful. The value at this price point is such that I would happily buy several of these styles in different colors. I especially like the hoodie they make.
