Flickering Images, Subpar Quality
The Chen Pan Ling 99 DVD is of extremely poor quality. As soon as I started to play it, I was appalled. It looked like it was filmed through Jello. The picture was unfocused and flickering. My husband, an engineer said the problem was extremely low resolution source material resulting in high pixilation. It’s totally unwatchable. I love Tai Chi and take lessons at the Senior Center. They teach the 24 (sometimes called Yang or standard 24) and the Chen Pan Ling 99 forms. I bought Dr. Paul Lam’s 24 forms DVD and it helped me a lot with the first form. Since he doesn’t make this one, I tried another company. Unfortunately this DVD is of the worst quality. Save your money. FYI, it came in an unsealed case and I was told that was normal. Read more
