This mouse is not only responsive and usable, it just feels good in the hand. Best of all, it has that retro look I was worried I wouldn't be able to find. The mouse comes with a PS/2 connector for anyone wanting to use it with an older computer. The scroll wheel actually lights up red which I personally find to be delightful. If you're looking for a retro-style mouse or even just a mouse that's all practicality, no frills this is it. The switches on the right click, left click, and scroll wheel all sound different and amazing (though I suppose what else could you expect from a Cherry brand mouse. (Yes, I'm going to be using it for gaming and it seems to be up for the task.) Read more

Lightweight, positive clickwheel, nice positive clicks. Does it's job just fine and looks great with "retro" components. Man, calling anything beige retro hurts my ego but really does the job well. Has the very bright old school red optical sensor which does show through the mouse body and especially the clickwheel. I don't mind it at all and actually kind of enjoy the lighting of it, but if that would bother you it is something to keep in mind for sure. Read more

Perfect retro mouse. Great build quality and simple, really great value at this price point (~$20). I use it for general computer work and gaming, it's been great for every task. All I could have asked for and more! Read more

I use this mouse as part of my 90's retro-modern PC setup, paired with an off-white & light gray mechanical keyboard. The mouse scroll wheel is silent and has a slight red glow when the mouse is moving, presumably from the red laser on the bottom. It works with no mousepad on my desk (light wood) and has withstood my 12-hour per day use for the last 10 months. I would recommend it if you like the 90's look. Read more

It’s simple and that’s why I ordered it. I’ve used it over a week now for games and work. Both have been more than adequate. The lack of DPI customization and 100 customizable buttons is not noticeable, because you’re buying a mouse meant to be retro. If that’s a deal breaker for you, you’re probably not looking for a mouse like this anyways. Read more

I got this mouse to go with my Unicomp Classic keyboard. Like other reviewers said, it comes with a female USB-A to male PS/2 port adapter, which is a very nice bonus. It works extremely well, its full sized and fits my large hands very comfortably, and the cable is very flexible with a soft rubber insulation, which is fantastic because way too many mice come with stiff plastic insulation on the cable. For $15 you probably can't get a better mouse, and as far as my research suggests, you can't find a mouse that has this look anywhere else. This may be the last 90's beige mouse on the market. It would be nice to spend $20 and get an IR laser instead of a bright red laser, but this is more of my own preference than an actual complaint. 5/5 mouse, the body feels thick and durable, the clicks are stiff and audible but easy to actuate, and is likely the best $15 mouse on the market.
