I have a pit/boxer mix who is about 3 years old now. This is his favorite inside toy. When he runs for a toy (and he has a lot) this is the one he grabs first (dogs are funny!). He runs around with it then stops to give it the death shake, and then starts running again. This is a soft toy that would be easily destroyed if any dog set their mind to it. Mine does chew on it a bit, but I think he likes it too much to destroy it (and he has destroyed plenty of other toys!). It is good to throw and play tug with, but don't get this as a chew toy - it will not last. Read more
We have tried many toys for our dogs to retrieve in the pool. Nothing holds up these do! The dogs (5 ranging from a Cocker Spaniel to a Golden Retriever) love them. Of the 6 that we have bought 5 are still in service. The one casualty tore when I tried to pull it out of the dog's mouth. The only minor thing is the orange color fades over time. It's not a big thing, but it makes them a little harder ti find sometimes. Read more
Most of the other non-fuzzy Chuck-It balls are amazing and durable. This one, not so much. My dog regularly pops tennis balls and Chuck-It brand has been the only brand to offer a ball that lasts. This ball, just isn't what I imagined. My dog was able to chew it to bits in a matter of minutes. Read more
I'd been watching for this to come back available for like 3 years. My German Shepherd had one several years ago and LOVED it - We called it his pacifier because he would just sit and gently chew on it after meals and in the evening. It was quite funny really - his routine. But it wore out and couldn't find it in the stores or online for quite some time. Finally it came available again. Duke hasn't quite remembered how much he likes it again yet - but he'll get there. I'm just glad to have found his "Pacifier" again. :-) Read more
The good news is my dog (a 65 pound lob) was obsessed with this the second we gave it to her. The bad news is although it says it is for tough chewers, she ripped it apart in less than a day. And thats just with us throwing it and having her bring it back. So, it was a waste of money. I did love seeing how happy she was fetching it in the water, but it really needs to last longer- now its just a choking hazard. Read more
I like this brand of products this is a good toy. it bounces and rolls nicely. too heavy to toss realistically but a great chase you because it does bounce and take off Read more
My dog loves running around with this toy, especially if she has to retrieve it from the pool or by the sprinkler. I was actually able to get her to learn "catch" because the length of it allowed her to grab ahold of it when gently tossed to her. It probably is good for tug of war, too, but since she is teething, I'll have to wait until her adult teeth are in. Read more
