To save anyone else the hassle of buying and returning this: No, an iPhone 16 pro max will not charge in this and the arm will directly contact your camera button as do all of their other versions of this mount. Read more

I just installed this on my 2018 Goldwing clutch side handle bar for my Apple 15 Pro Max in a Otter case. Fits well and holds tight. Charging started immediately.
