I was hesitant to buy an off-brand mixer, but the price point for this was too good to pass up. I mainly use it for cakes, cookies, and bread it has honestly exceeded my expectations. It handles typical cake batters and buttercream like a dream. The motor is surprisingly powerful for the price. I love the multiple speed settings and that the bowl has a really good capacity. It looks great on my counter, I picked the dark matte brown. The suction cups on the bottom to keep it stable during use works great. At a fraction of the cost of a high-end mixer, making it a great bargain for the occasional baker. Read more

I am 46 years old and never owned a mixer. I have always cooked and baked from scratch, for my child. Being a single mom, barely scraping by, there was always something more important to spend my money on. Today I received this mixer as a gift, for my birthday. I don't have much experience, other than occasionally using other peoples mixers, however, this mixer is everything I needed and wanted. It has 6 speeds and an option to "pulse" a quick couple of extra full blast mixes for good measure...without having to turn it all the way to the 6th setting...and those settings are no joke! Very smooth as well. The bowl is huge. The attachments are sturdy and good quality. The suction cups on the bottom are strong without pulling muscles trying to get it unstuck. The lift lever seems sturdy enough. It's sleek and the gray is very pretty. The splash guard is sturdy and fits the entire bowl, without gapping too much and an open spout to pour ingredients in while mixing. The low amount of money that was paid for this product does not give it justice for the quality of this machine. Don't think just because it's cheap, that it's "cheap". It's perfect for the the adult child moving out or the older folk like myself, buying for the first time. Cooking and baking is one of the only joys in my life and I appreciate quality cookware and appliances. I feel good about this product....name brand or not. A kitchen aid may last forever but I don't have much time left 😂 so this will do. Read more

I own a Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer that I've had for almost 20 years. It is still running strong but the bowl is actually a little small, prompting me to look at an additional larger bowl mixer... but I wasn't about to spend Kitchen Aid money again on a mixer for the increased capacity, especially with all the attachments I have. Enter the CKEMU 9qt mixer. So the good... the bowl is huge! Just what I was looking for. I like the tilting head design... slightly different from my old reliable K.A., but familiar enough that I like it. I like the shield for the top of the bowl... and excellent touch. I like the suction cups that keep it from walking (and marking up) our counter the way my K.A. does. It seems to have enough power for the cookie dough that's been made in it. I like that it is also pretty easy to clean. The not so great.... the construction. On it's own, it is probably just fine, but when stood up next to the K.A., you can really feel the difference. I guess I have been spoiled by the K.A. all this time. But the reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 star review... the clearance from attachment to the bowl. I wish it were just a bit tighter. It wasn't the end of the world, but I did have to stop a few times and scrape down the sides to get an acceptable mix and not leave the walls of the bowl caked. While it mixes the ingredient well that it can reach, it just doesn't quite reach all the ingredients... and it really isn't by all that much, either. Overall, this has been a solid mixer so far... and at a reasonable price. I can only hope it lasts as long as my K.A. Read more

I just received this mixer today and haven’t used it yet, but I’m already impressed. It feels very sturdy, and the mixing bowl is huge! With my old mixer, I had to make two or three batches to get through a recipe—but with this one, I’ll be able to make big batches all at once. My previous mixer lasted over 35 years and is still working, though it’s just too small for my current needs. I saw a review where someone was concerned about the plastic construction, but honestly, this new mixer feels even sturdier than my old one. If it holds up anything like that, I’ll be thrilled. I love the modern look and the color—it’s sleek and stylish. Plus, the design is smooth without a lot of little nooks and crannies, so I expect it’ll be easy to clean. I can’t wait to put it to work for holiday baking! Read more

The mixing items do not come down far enough to the bottom of the bowl. It does not mix well. Read more
