Bought this to play in USA after learning the PS5 is not region-locked in the way some older consoles were. American versions of this disc are frequently sold out or vastly overpriced due to the popularity of the game. Other reviews mentioned it will work, so I took a chance since the price is almost the same as the MSRP, and free shipping. Got it delivered early and in perfect condition, and can confirm it installs and plays from a US PS5 Pro (with optional disc drive) and the default language (text and spoken) is English, so no problems at all, and it looks and plays gorgeously. If you can get it at a reasonable price and don't care about the native region of the disc, this is your best option until more stock becomes available in the USA. Read more
Got Japanese version because it's otherwise unavailable in the US as of writing date (unless with an inflated price tag). Just installed and can confirm it works on a US PS5! Defailts in English. Can't wait to play! Good stuff! Read more

It feels like FFX and Nier: Automata had a French baby. The gameplay and story are really not at all like Nier automata but it gives off similar epic strange vibes with the atmosphere and music. This version worked perfectly fine in English on my not-from-Japan ps5 Read more
