The BEST thing about this is that it is a quiet vacumm. I use this for my residential home and it does what it was meant to do, vacumm. However, to me it seems over priced when compared to a Hoover Hush commercial vacumm which does the same job at a cheaper price. The Clarke is made in China and the ONLY thing that can be said of giving it an "At a Boy" is that, when the vacumm is on and it is in its vertical position, the separate motor powering the brush stops. This a HUGE plus in favor of the Clarke in helping the carpet under the brushes from being damaged when using the hose to vacumm other things while it is in its vertical position. This is the best vacuum I have ever used. I have used the European vacuums that they use in the city of New York, and also the Dyson home models. But this thing is just pure cleaning power. The disposable paper bags are really very cool. The cleanest way to empty a vacuum. If you hate that big cloud of dust and mess, when you empty a vacuum cleaner you will love the Clarke. I purchased mine through Edmer Janitorial Supply here on Long Island, NY. And I am very, very happy with it. This is a commercial unit. It automatically shuts off the carpet agitator if it sucks up something like a towel, or blanket. All you have to do is remove the object which comes right out, and restart the vacuum. When the bag gets full it shuts down the vacuum automatically. It is really an awesome piece of work. Well worth the price. There is a place for a spare bag on board. Along with attachments for the rather long hose and wand. The carpet agitator pops right out of the unit, like a clip in a firearm. So you can remove any fishing line, or yarn that finds its way around the agitator. Great design. It has two motors one for the agitator and one for the suction. Also an amazing design. It will suck up quarters and dimes and paper clips effortlessly and rather quietly. I pulled a half a bag of heavy sand and debris out of a carpet the first time I used the Clarke on it. Since then I only get small amounts of dirt, when I vacuum that same carpet. That is how much other vacuums left behind and under the carpet.
