This comes in a nice outer product box. It’s made in USA. Ingredients are listed. It comes in a squeeze tube. They have a mattifying version and a hydrating version. I got the hydrating. It’s a white cream. The consistency isn’t too thick, but isn’t really thin either. It glides onto the skin easily and absorbs into the skin well. It doesn’t feel greasy, sticky, or heavy. It also doesn’t feel chalky or drying. It does feel hydrating on the skin. It doesn’t have any white cast, but I’m very fair so I usually don’t get a white cast (though, ones with white cast usually make me look a little paler. This didn’t). This also works well under my makeup. Like any sunscreen, I give it time to settle on the skin. But this absorbs into my skin well even though it’s hydrating. I have dry skin though, so most things get sucked right up by my skin! It doesn’t blur or smooth the skin. But it’s not a primer so I don’t expect it to. At the time I got this, it didn’t say what sunscreen filters it used. It just said 50 SPF Broad Spectrum. It didn’t say if it was mineral or chemical. The ingredient list on the product page was just the inactive ingredients. It didn’t have any active ingredients listed (which would be the sunscreen filters). If I knew the filters it used, I probably wouldn’t have gotten it. Granted, the US doesn’t have many options for chemical sunscreen filters. They’re really behind on that. So, I don’t blame the brand at all. But, the chemical sunscreen filters used in this are older generation ones that usually burn my eyes and break me out. Avobenzone 3% Homosalate 7% Octisalate 4.5% Octocrylene 7% Given its Clinique, I did decide to try it anyway… risking a breakout. It didn’t burn my eyes. And I didn’t break out at all. I’m not sure why this one is different from other chemical sunscreens I’ve tried that use the same chemical filters. But it somehow didn’t. So I was happy about that! If, like me, you don’t usually do well with older generation sunscreen filters, this is an option to try! The only way I’ve been able to use chemical sunscreens has been K-beauty ones that use newer generation filters. But those aren’t as easy to get in the US. But I hate mineral sunscreens because they’re just too chalky and drying on my dry skin and never work well under makeup. And, majority on the market, even those claiming to be 100% mineral, have hidden chemical filters and break me out and burn my eyes anyway. So it’s nice having an option that’s a chemical sunscreen I can easily get in the US that doesn’t burn my eyes or break me out! Read more
This sunblock manufactured by Clinique is easy to apply and spread and is easily absorbed. Living in an area of the country where sunblock is a must I wear sunblock on a daily basis and value a nice sunblock. This product was tested by applying a patch of sunblock to my arm and going for a walk on a sunny day, while also using a known SPF 50 sunscreen. It did at least as good of a job at preventing sunburn as my known sunscreen. In addition to doing a good job it did not feel sticky, or leave residue on my car steering wheel. After testing it on my arm I have started wearing it on my face. I find it does not leave my skin feeling greasy or oily. Additionally with only a light cleansing with cleanser and water I am able to wash it off my face. Sometimes stronger sunblocks can be difficult to remove, but this was not the case. While I did sweat I would not consider it comparable to a workout, although this would not be my choice for that application. This product was tested on a male with fair skin and an oily complexion who wears sunblock on a daily basis. Read more

This UV Solutions hydrating broad spectrum sunscreen from Clinique is a win in my book. I have been using Clinique products for over 20 years, and I consider them a trusted, time-tested brand. It’s no secret that dermatologists, estheticians, and makeup artists have been yelling at us for years to use sunscreen on our faces to prevent the look of aging and keep our skin healthy and help ward off skin disease. I’m always on the hunt for a good facial sunscreen. It’s 2026 now, and nobody’s got time for sunscreen that creates a white cast anymore. That’s one thing I love about this one from Clinique. NO WHITE CAST! It’s lightweight and hydrating, not heavy, thick or smeary. It’s highly moisturizing and rubs right in with no cast at all. It feels moisturizing long after it’s applied, and it doesn’t feel greasy or oily. This is exactly what I’m looking for in a sunscreen, especially one for my face. And with a 50 SPF, there’s nothing else I could want or ask for in a facial sunscreen! Because it doesn’t leave a greasy or oily feeling behind, just sheer moisture, it’s perfect for layering under makeup and it doesn’t show at all or create creases or lines. It’s truly a great facial product. Read more

I grabbed this sunscreen for my kid who has been struggling with acne and honestly I did not want them putting chemical junk on their face. Clinique is a brand I trust so even though it is a little pricey I figured it was worth it. Turns out it was a great call. This stuff goes on smooth with no white cast and does not feel greasy at all. My kid actually likes using it which is saying something because they usually hate sunscreen. It is SPF 50 so you get solid protection and it has antioxidants which is a nice bonus. The formula is gentle and has not caused any breakouts which was my biggest concern. We went with the mattifying version and it really does keep the skin looking fresh instead of shiny. Perfect for sensitive skin and honestly it feels like a premium product compared to the usual drugstore stuff. If you are looking for a sunscreen that is safe for acne prone skin and actually feels good to wear this is worth the extra money. Happy kid and happy parent. Read more

I've been a Clinique fan for a while now and this product met all my expectations. A little bit goes a long way, it absorbs. nicely without a white cast, and doesn't leave your skin feeling filmy or oily. I've used it a few times while skiing and so far, no sunburns, so I'm a believer. Even for the price tag of $40, I think it's a great value because it's a high quality product. I also have really sensitive skin that loves to get zits whenever I use a new face product and with this one? No zits! Read more
