I was a little skeptical at first because I had never heard of this mascara brand before, but after seeing it all over my feed, I finally gave in and it did NOT disappoint! My lashes looked full without any clumps, super wispy, and honestly felt like my natural lashes, just much longer and prettier. And the curl managed to stay all day without feeling too heavy. I can also confirm the waterproof claim is legit. I wore this to a waterpark and came out with zero smudging or raccoon eyes. I really like this mascara. It helps my lashes stay up all day and will not budge. It makes my lashes look very long and tall, and I feel like I look like a doll whenever I use it. The formula doesn’t get messy or clumpy at all, which I really love. The only downside is that it is very hard to remove. It takes me a bit of time each use to remove it gently without pulling my lashes. I will be receiving a mascara remover soon, which should make it easier and more efficient. This is one of the very best mascaras I have ever tried, and as a 67 year old with a lifetime addiction to trying new makeup, I've tried hundreds of mascaras over the years. I prefer waterproof mascara, but I've tried my share of both waterproof and regular mascaras, tubing ones, too. The Clio Kill Lash formula stays in place, doesnt smudge. Keeps my lashes curled all day. Gives me great length and the brush seems to find even the tiny lashes. The brush is also easy to control, and works great on lower lashes as well as upper lashes -and it's reasonably priced,too. I had no problem at all removing this mascara, either. It comes off easily with a cotton pad and micellar water that is made for waterproof makeup. Just shake the bottle well before saturating a cotton round with the right kind of micellar water, then hold the saturated pad on your lashes for about 15 seconds, then gently wipe away the mascara. This mascara is so good, it will replace my $34 waterproof premium brand mascara that's been my favorite for a couple years. Clio, please don't ever stop making it! Read more
I’ve been using this mascara for a while now, and overall I’m really happy with how it performs. One of the biggest things I noticed is how much it helps my lashes look longer. Even though my lashes are naturally quite straight, this mascara does a great job of defining and extending them so they don’t look flat or short. It works especially well with a lash curler. After curling my lashes, the mascara holds the shape nicely and makes the curl look more noticeable and lifted. I like that it coats the lashes evenly without clumping too much, which helps keep them looking separated and more natural while still adding length. The best mascara I have ever used hands down! This product keeps my lashes curled all day with zero smudge. I've gotten so many compliments when using this product. People think I have fake eyelashes or lash extensions. One thing to note though is that this product is very difficult to remove! Clio actually makes a mascara remover that is also available on Amazon. I tried it and it does help with removing the mascara. My trick is to use an oil based eye makeup remover followed by an oil-based cleanser or cleansing balm. Read more
Do not use if you have sensitive skin. I bought this mascara for both me and my teenage daughter and we both got weird eyelid pain and swelling while using this. We threw both bottles away after just a few uses. :( Read more
This waterproof mascara is a keeper. It stays put through sweat, humidity, and long days without smudging or running, but still comes off without too much fuss at night. It gives nice volume and definition without clumping, and I love that I don’t have to worry about raccoon eyes. A solid everyday mascara I reach for again and again. Read more
I really wanted to like this but I had to really think hard about something nice to say. Perhaps I am not the target consumer for this mascara. For context, my hair is very fine and very straight. I have to use an eyelash curler or my eyelashes stick straight out. Waterproof mascara holds the curl, mascara that is not waterproof will straighten my lashes back out. I like to look like I am wearing mascara but on the more tame side. I can tell this mascara is not waterproof because it straightens my lashes back out after I apply it. The description on the listing states is waterproof but also that it can be removed with lukewarm water? These two things cannot coexist. It also says "Smudge-proof and resistant to sweat, humidity, and tears. Keeps your lashes curled and defined all day without flaking or smearing, ideal for long wear." It does not keep my lashes curled. I both cried and went to the gym the first day I wore this and it clumped my lashes when I cried and then flaked all over my undereye at the gym. Initially when applying this mascara, there is this weird cooling sensation? Don't like that. I don't understand where the volume is, because there isn't any. The description says it will enhance definition and density, and it did quite the opposite. It clumped my lashes together because it is very smooth and soft, which gave me a much less dense look. I will say that it does remove really easily with an eye makeup remover and did not leave a residue. Probably because it isn't waterproof. I'm really confused because I feel like I received a completely different mascara from the reviews? What I received did the complete opposite of every single marketing claim. I am returning it.
