Is it totally budge-proof for 12 hours straight? Not quite, but with my oily lids (even with primer), I can get a solid 7 AM to 2 PM wear time before I need a quick refresh. And for me, that’s impressive. Plus, if you use eyelid tape, this liner actually adheres well and still pops—though, fair warning, it’s a little less forgiving on tape if you make a mistake. The deep black shade is rich and bold, absolutely perfect for tight-lining my upper lashes. But my secret sauce? I layer it! Black on the waterline, dark brown above it, and then another soft brown on top—it gives the eyes such a dimensional, polished look. I do wish they had a shade between black and dark brown, but honestly, the formula and smooth application keep me hooked. It's a great product, but it runs out so quick. It doesn't smudge or smear throughout the day and the color I use is dark brown which isn't too harsh on my eyes. Mute Gray is the perfect soft liner color I’ve been looking for. It’s a gray-heavy taupe, and even though I have very light skin and black lashes, this is a much more natural, soft, look than gray or brown. If I use a light hand it works for a ‘no makeup’ look for me. Also, I can use this on my lower lashline without it looking overdone, even if I’m using dark upper liner. Read more

I never imagined that something as simple as a gel pencil eyeliner could be bad, but this is. It's so dry that even pressing hard on my eyelid, I can barely get any pigment. Oh and also - if you press too hard, the exposed tip will simply snap off! I would not recommend this to anyone. I barely know what it looks like on my eye because I can't get any color payoff. I am torn about this product. Pros: it lasts, great pigment and easy to apply. Cons: not enough product, last pencil I bought (I’ve bought twice) was half way broken, it’s a little thick for drawing finer wing lines and I can never quite achieve the look I want, it does smudge (I have oily, hooded lids), and when I draw it along my lash line the base of my eyelashes get sticky making it difficult to apply mascara effectively without clumping or having my eyelashes go a weird direction. I do like the fact that it does seem to last longer than most eyeliners. Is there a trick to make it more sharp for a fine line? Was wondering if putting it in the freezer might work.
