I’ve owned three
So I gifted this to one of my best friends. I love the coffee that comes out. It’s not an espresso machine but the coffee is much more concentrated. My first the handle broke off. I still have the other two. One for camping and one for every day use. I first tried the aluminum ones they get the job done but not as appealing to the eye and much looser so not the same result on taste. These are beautiful, easy to use, depending on the type of grind affects the filter. For the most part no issues. I’m ok with some tiny grounds in the bottom. Definitely recommend if you love coffee. Excellent rich coffee
I find the 12-cup size pot easy to clean with a soft bottle brush. The center tube can be loosened when excessive force is applied during cleaning. I loosened the center tube on a 9-cup model while using a too-stiff bottle brush. The filter basket and bottom reservoir need only light cleaning. Whether using high or moderate heat, remove the percolator from the heat when the center tube stops gurgling - you will learn that when the sound stops, all water has been ejected from the bottom reservoir. Threads to screw top on/off misaligned, making usage frustrating. Not true stainless steel as there is a coating on interior parts. Returned for higher quality espresso pot. Read more
