These graters are perfect for me. They are sturdy, easy to hold or use while set down on the counter. They are very sharp and do not rust. They are easy to clean. I wash them by hand and have not put them in the dishwasher since I have an older dishwasher that might not clean all the grater edges. Also, they grate huge amount of Parmesan cheese extremely quickly, evenly and easily. I hardy have to apply pressure. In a few seconds I have a large pile of fresh Parmesan. I use the plastic covers to safely store the graters in a drawer. The covers fit perfectly and securely. I don’t use the covers to catch the grated cheese because they don’t hold much and the graters work so quickly and easily and just holding them upright in a bowl produces much more than the plastic covers could hold.
