Compact, quickly adds nice sized shreds of Parmesan cheese
Convenient size for a family meal at the table. Easy to use, much quicker than a microplane and no risk to fingers. Also it nicely grates pieces of parmesan cheese down to the rind--no waste (we put the thin rind in soups). Disasembles quickly and washes in the top rack of the dishwasher. Read more

The grater is simple and does a simple job, but removing the parts and washing them separately is impossible. This makes the cheese remain in the crevices, and it is almost impossible to pull them out. For such a pr,ice I was expecting a better product design. Read more
