I love this cheese grater. Just like the restaurants. Makes things easier. I get a block of Parmesan and cut pieces off to fill grater. It works like a dream. Ok so this is kind of funny but my husband is terrified of cheese graters but love’s grated cheese and cooking. This is such a safer option for him and spares me from the manual grating duties. My wife is Italian and a marvelous cook — no complaints there! But she used to bring the Parmesan and Romano cheese to the table with a handheld grater — one hand on the grater, one on the cheese — and pass it around for everyone to use. Even though it was just family, it always made me a little uneasy from a food-safety standpoint. This rotary cheese grater put all those concerns to rest. It’s faster, safer, and easier to use — and I can get more cheese with less effort. The build quality has been excellent, and cleaning is simple. My old one only lasted about 20 years. It could be redesigned to avoid cracking, but it’s basically an excellent grater, easy to use and clean. When this one breaks I will buy another assuming I’m still alive. Read more

This is perfect! Exactly like the Olive Garden cheese grater - exactly what I wanted. We use this everyday without fail, it works amazingly and is super easy to use, and the fact that it can be dishwashed is just so great. We only ever use it for parmesan so I can't speak for other cheeses but it really does a great job for parmesan. Read more

Works great with hard cheeses such as Parmesan. But softer cheese such as cheddar, mozzarella it doesn't work. Cheese gets gummed up. Just won't work on softer cheeses. Read more

I've had other craters. A flat one. A box one. This is probably my favorite grater ever. It's fast and easy, which are the only two things that a care about when grating Parmesan cheese. The design also makes it easy to direct where the grated cheese goes, like when you need to to go in a bowl. The only downside on this, and I'm REALLY nitpicking on this, is that the groves that you use to unscrew it could be a little deeper or easy to hold. If you put it together too firmly, it gets a little challenging to unscrew it. Definitely don't try if the thing gets wet. Read more
