5/12/25: UPDATE: The pot works fine. One thing drive me to using bad words. I said this before, but it is an irritant. They attached the handle to the lid. Plastic lids are hard enough to use on glass jar. Having a handle in the way so that you have to remove you hand with each turn is frustrating. Fir someone new to what cold coffee brew represents, this is a good starter pot, or I frequently used pot. The instruction page presented a problem. Simple answer: go online and get detailed instructions on just how to make cold coffee. Now, the simple instructions manuel is a fine reminder. Packaging handled the trip thru shipping very well. It is glass. It was double packed. There were many choices of cold brewing containers. Considering the cleaning process I go thru with my automatic tea pot, I opted for simple. Simple is very easy to clean with no over-engineered top to take apart to clean. Small enough for refrigerator or counter. The gaskets didn’t look sturdy to me, but after use and washing, I think they will be just fine. It’s hard for the plastic lid to screw on and off because of the handle, but I succeed. I use a standard tube sponge to clean the filter. Works better. Read more

Easy to use with straight forward directions, this item was for my 16 year old & he LOVES it, makes cold/iced coffee that is so much smoother and the bitter after taste is gone, I didn't know what a difference in the taste of coffee the cold brewing method makes, it really is less bitter and seems to have an all around fuller taste/ smell, easy to clean metal filter for the coffee grounds with a 2 quart glass mason jar as the body of the cold brewer, thick glass and a sturdy cap that allows for easy pouring when the coffee is finished doing its brewing thing in the fridge, all parts are easy to clean in warm soapy water, if you're just curious about this "crazy cold brewing phase" that all the big time coffee chains seem to be going through then this is a great buy that I would recommend to anyone who's looking for a sturdy no frills cold brewer, especially first timers like my son & I, it may not make a quick cup of coffee but it does seem to make the best tasting coffee so if you have the time & the fridge then we highly recommend this cold brewer! It seems to work well, but I must admit I did not expect it to be such a bulky type of jar. The lid screws on easily enough, but it is very difficult to unscrew, and also, it moves when I pick up the jar by its handle despite the fact that it’s on nice and tight. I repeatedly took it off and put it back on with the hope that it would not allow for any movement or jiggling if you will. It’s a nice product, but I don’t think that I would purchase it again. I would much rather have a situation where the handle is fixed to the decanter. This leaves me uneasy and each and every time I am using both hands to pour so that I do not use the handle. I would have returned it, but I had already returned another cold brew maker, and that one was because I did not know that it was plastic, and I didn’t think it was appropriate to spend $30 for plastic rather than glass. All in all this product works, it’s just disappointing and I’m being a little generous with the four stars. Read more

I just tried out this cold brew coffee maker, and it works great! I was trying to avoid paper filters, and this is great for that use. It's very easy to use. It's simply a large mason jar with a metal filter that fits well inside the jar, and a plastic top that seals nicely. Read more

This is a great cold brew coffee maker! The size is absolutely perfect - 64oz is the same volume of iced coffee you get at the store. It looks really classy too, the glass mason jar style gives it a retro farmhouse chic look. It’s really easy to clean as well with the provided scrubber. As far as the pitcher just scrub as usual. It’s so easy too - just fill the inner tube with ground coffee of your choice and let it brew for 24-48 hours. I find a longer brew tastes better, especially if you like a stronger brew. With my usual coffee, it was delicious- tastes better than even the name brand iced coffee I used to buy at the store. Saves you so much money it pays for itself! You can use it for other things too like infused water but I’ve only tried coffee; that being said I’m looking forward to try it out in other ways. Read more
