I’ve been searching for waterproof and warm gloves since moving to upstate NY 3 years ago. Fit: they have several sizing options but my hands are very wide with short fingers so sizing is never perfect for me. With that said I am happy. Dexterity: they started off very stiff but after a few times wearing them they wore in better. These gloves are warm and even in zero temps my hands stayed warm. If it’s not super cold out they can be a little too warm and cause your hands to sweat. Unlike other gloves I was able to roll the gauntlet back and have the inside dry out if my hands got sweaty. Snow blowed a few times now, gloves were saturated in snow on the outside but nice and dry on the inside: Would recommend, bought my wife a pair as well Read more

Rugged and warm. These gloves are fabulous... cold and wet weather resistant, built sturdily, and fit perfectly. Of course, fit is subjective. I bought a XXL and my hand is about 10" in circumference and 9" long (wrist to tip of middle finger). The only negative is there is no clip to secure the gloves together, but it's not a big enough fault to ding them a star. Read more

They're the warmest non battery powered gloves that I've owned, but snowmobile mittens still keep your hands warmer because your fingers are together. But if you need the dexterity of separate fingers and you can't afford the battery powered ones then these are as Good as it gets. Read more

These gloves are expensive but they proved their worth in the very cold winter weather we had in Wisconsin this year. The gloves keep your hands warm and dry and they block the wind. very well. I have to get up early and walk my dog reguardless of the weather and these gloves keep my hands warm and cozey. I should think if you were a farmer or construction worker or a skyer or any person who is out doors in the very cold weather will love these gloves. My problem is I have a tendency to loose gloves when I take them off.. At $40.00 a pair you do not want this to happen. For your cold weather comfort I highly recommend these gloves. Read more

Bought these to use with snowblower. I like the extended cuff, water proof, work type material, & 200 gram Thinsulate. Used them today in 4 degree weather with -10 windchill, they did not work. After about fifteen minutes my fingers were getting extremely cold & I have heated hand grips on my snow blower. Went back to my 40 gram Thinsulate gloves that I have used in the past in these conditions. I did get these to work by putting some cheap brown jersey gloves inside of them, then they were fine. But with 200 grams of Thinsulate a person shouldn't have to. If they do have that amount in them, it is in the cuff & back of glove, definitely not in finger area where it is really needed. As far as lining pulling out when removing your hand that other reviewers mentioned, was minimal for my experience. I did have to push the liner all the way to end of little finger for it to fit correctly on first try on my hands. I definitely do not think they are worth the price with the mod I had to do to get them to work for me, you may be different. Read more

I'm a diabetic with poor circulation in my hands. It snows where I live and I work in the forest cutting firewood. I needed a glove that would keep my fingers from freezing and also be able to stand up to the rigors of working with cutting and loading wood. Most gloves don't last more than a week or two. These gloves have lasted all season and hardly show any wear at all. Most important is that my fingers don't get cold at all, even in single digit temps. In short, they're tough as they come and they're the first gloves ever to truly keep my hands warm. They are a little restrictive, but that's to be expected from a glove as well insulated as these. The first pair showed up with a rip in the stitching towards the wrist so I sent them back for a replacement. The second pair showed up fine and then after one snow storm where I took them off and on maybe ten times in one day, the cuff ripped off the glove. I expected better quality. I’ll just keep this pair now but I don’t have high hopes of them lasting very long. Read more

I bought these for my husband. He has very sensitive fingers in cold weather. For the past week we have experienced colder than average weather for our area in Northern California. My husband has had to be out several days (and in the after dark hours) in the upper teens and lower twenties on our property and he says these gloves have "saved" him. With dealing with the snow fall that we have just had, the gloves have proved to be waterproof and warm. He also likes the cuff that he can wear over his jacket sleaves or rain wear keeping the chill out. Read more
