I bought a couple of these tops a few years ago. They are really warm under sweaters or turtlenecks. They've held up through many washes. I like that the outer layer has wool in it. The fit is true to sizing. Much better than Smartwool wool tops which barely last a season without having holes in them and they are very expensive. Read more
I am a person who gets cold easily and I have bought all kinds of thermal underwear. Some were good, but this one is perfect. It feels great on your skin, and keeps you warm as toast. It is worth its price. You get what you pay for, this is really not too expensive and you will be glad you own it, when it is cold. Well done! Read more
My husband and I are divers and I bought us both a set of ColdPruf Platinum Dual Layer tops/bottoms to use as drysuit underwear. It works perfectly as a base layer - it wicks moisture very well and does a great job of keeping me warm. I also have worn the top as a base layer when going out in the cold and I'm quite happy with the performance of this top for this purpose as well. I even got it wet while diving and it still helped keep me warm out of the water on our way home. The quality is great, it feels nice and soft, and it's not thick like I thought it would be. I'm so happy that I'm buying another set! Read more
Very soft and extremely comfortable. Warm as a base layer for frigid weather, and pretty enough to wear on it's own. I wore it as a base layer during an Alaska trip with wind chill of -20, and was really happy with how warm it kept me. I wish I had bought more than one. I wear a size L (12 - 14) and this top fit perfectly. Highly recommend it! Read more
I normally wear size 16-18 tops, depending on brands, so I got the XL. It was a smidge snug, so I probably could have gone up a size. Other than that, boy did it keep me warm! Wore it under a long sleeve shirt (and a jacket of course) to go out in NY winter weather. I was actually almost hot in it. So it did it's job. My only complaint is the length. It hit just above my hips, near the top of my pants. Could be me, but I like a longer shirt that at least goes over the top of my pants a little, and not a big fan of having a gap there. I doubt it's a sizing issue, and think it's more of a design. Still worth it if you're looking to stay warm though. Read more
I purchased for a camping trip where the night temps were going to be in the 20's & 30's, and was hoping I purchased wisely. I was very grateful when I used for the first time. I only wore the top & bottoms to bed with wool socks, and I was toasty warm. The next morning I left them on but covered myself with a sweatshirt & jeans, the morning air was quite cold but I was still comfortable. I would suggest the top & bottom to anyone that wanted a comfortably fitting base layer that really did keep you warm. Read more
Keeps me really warm. Read more
This underlayer top by ColdPruf was a disappointment. Though it provided a warm base layer; when machine washed & dried,it was covered in lint that was impossible to remove; That detracted from its appearance, plus I was concerned the pilling would rub off on the clothing that I wore on top of it. As spendey as this product is. I expected better than that from it. I do not recommend it. Read more
